What do you define as "regular."

"Regular" and common sense to me in the US is the Bill of Rights... I'm sure "regular" to others is a authoritarian government but not a totalitarian government..

Classical liberals and the Tea Party are the only sane individuals in this country right now, at least they follow a philosophy this country was founded on and documented rather than their own personal feelings, morals, ethics and ideology.

But I suppose in an insane environment the sane are the insane...

Actually... in all seriousness. I think there ought to be four main parties. Socialist, Democratic, Republican and Federalist(or Tea Party).

That would categorize voters pretty well, I think.

But the truth of the matter is... as long as we have MONEY running the show instead of PEOPLE... it isn't going to matter how many parties we have. Take the damned money out of politics and this country recovers in no time. Too many wealthy special interests... Corporations, banking, Unions...and a host more that I can't think of. Our government serves all those entities FIRST...and us regular people get whatever is left over(be it their time, our money, and most importantly REPRESENTATION).

That would water down the entire voting base..

The only system that's compatible with our constitution is a two way system. Other parties are more than welcome to join but you got Democrat or Republican.

Besides the ideologies of some of the parties are illegal... Theocracy, socialism and communism's means are illegal... They all violate the Bill of Rights.

Civil liberties cannot be violated, the Tenth Amendment etches that in stone.
