Our rampant gun crime is due to several factors including:

1. Demonetization of firearms by the leftist media. Guns used to be commonplace, all around us, familiar. Now you get thrown out of school for pointing a finger.
2. The continued abuse of our children by the government-run public schools. Kids are tired, pissed and angry of the bars on both their bodies and their minds. They want to fight back.
3. Overcrowding and overpopulation. Biological stress on the organism combined by increased pressure to "produce." You need to put yourself into $90,000 worth of debt just out of high school just to get an education that you spend the rest of your life paying back because the promised jobs are not there.
4. Lack of opportunity. The poor realize that the system really doesn't give a flying crap about them and is content to leave them there rather than really help them attain autonomy and quality of life.

Combine these four and you have no value to life, yours or anyone else's. It's a Fool's Errand to think you can "disarm" 200 million people much less that this will get guns out of hands of real criminals or that people won't simply turn to some other method if violence is truly their intent. Claims about other countries are invalid because these are two entirely different systems and societies with totally different people, background and rules. It is the height of arrogant folly to think you can make America into another "England" or other country. Such efforts will only enrage an already fed-up population of people tired of endless politics.

I don't know if you are aware of Chicago politics, but the city has been under the control of democrats since 1931.......the judges are democrats, the prosecutors are democrats, and the city is run by democrat party aldermen who have very cozy relationships with the street gangs...

I don't know if you are aware of Chicago politics, but the city has been under the control of democrats since 1931.......the judges are democrats, the prosecutors are democrats, and the city is run by democrat party aldermen who have very cozy relationships with the street gangs...

I take your word for it. Y'know, I believe judges should NOT be affiliated with any political party. They should all be free to vote and support whatever candidate they choose, but to be a member of a political party creates mistrust in their oath to blind justice based on facts alone.
