As in 2013 the Republicans have shut down the government again, denying taxpayers what they paid their taxes for. John Boehner must be laughing in Paul Ryan's face about now. "How'd that go for you Paulie, did the orange turd crap on your parade again? At least in 2013 we didn't control the presidency so there was some excuse. You idiots control both houses of Congess and the presidency and here you are Eddie Munster."

They need 60 votes, you know this.

Takes two to tangle, BUT, there is a major advantage for the GOP. They put forward a plan to fund for a month, Dems rejected it. They refuse to sgn anything unless DACA is dealt with. This is a tough sell to anyone but the most loyal, especially with the economy humming, and, the vast majority saying that a government shut down is not acceptable if it rested on a DACA deal, that was from CNN. Basically, it's not deemed reasonable to hold the nation hostage for DACA.

Life goes on I suppose, but Trump will outplay them here and the longer it goes the more he could extract.
