“WE” GOT OSAMA BIN LADEN.

How many times have we said “we” got Osama when “we” had nothing to do with it? Getting OBL was a combined operation. Navy Seals, Commanders, Trainers, Obama and his advisors and administration. But it was Obama that made the final call that they said he could not do, and not once have he said “I” got Osama. Should he name every Seal? Commander? Trainer? Advisor and administrator who were involved? In all his appearances he has said “we” and we as Americans got Osama. Obama made the final call and he has every right to take credit for it and use it in his campaigning. Romney use his accomplishments in his campaigning but without the support of Americans his businesses would have succeeded. But has he ever given American credit? No. It has always been “I.”

If operation Osama had failed, who would have got the “credit.” Obama.

Bush constantly use 911 in his campaigning.
Who got credit for failure of the Banks, auto industry, failing economy, Wall Street, when it all started on Bush’s watch? Obama.
Who did the celebrating and victory dance chanting “we” got Osama in front of the White House? Americans.
Did OBL ever personally kill anyone on 911 but he got credit.
Did we every give Bush credit for ignoring the 911 warnings? Give him credit for Iraq war that he admitted was a mistake?
Did we every give McCain credit for his failure in Vietnam and his crashing “5” planes?Radical Reich Wing Extremist are like scavenger after tidbits something to attack Obama for. And most of it is coming from none other than FOXNEWS. Like attacking Obama is their OCD.

Well yea, let's give credit where credit is due. Obama killed Osama and he celebrated his death again!! Such class, so presidential!!

Pakistani who helped US with bin Laden raid imprisoned in Pakistan...

Pakistan convicts doctor who helped find bin Laden
5/23/2012 —A doctor who helped the CIA hunt down Osama bin Laden was convicted Wednesday of conspiring against the state and sentenced to 33 years in prison, adding new strains to an already deeply troubled relationship between the U.S. and Pakistan.
U.S. officials had urged Pakistan to release the doctor, who ran a vaccination program for the CIA to collect DNA and verify the al-Qaida leader's presence at the compound in the town of Abbottabad where U.S. commandos killed him in May 2011 in a unilateral raid. The lengthy sentence for Dr. Shakil Afridi will be taken as another sign of Pakistan's defiance of American wishes. It could give more fuel to critics in the United States that Pakistan—which has yet to arrest anyone for helping shelter bin Laden—should no longer be treated as an ally.

U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, who as CIA director oversaw the U.S. raid on bin Laden, said in an interview aired Wednesday on the "CBS Evening News" that Afridi was "very helpful" with the operation. "For them to take this kind of action against somebody who was helping to go after terrorism, I just think is a real mistake on their part," he said. The verdict came days after a NATO summit in Chicago that was overshadowed by tensions between the two countries that are threatening American hopes of an orderly end to the war in Afghanistan and withdrawal of its combat troops by 2014.

Islamabad was invited in expectation it would reopen supply lines for NATO and U.S. troops to Afghanistan it has blocked for nearly six months to protest U.S. airstrikes that killed 24 Pakistani troops on the Afghan border. But it did not reopen the routes, and instead repeated demands for an apology from Washington for the airstrikes. Pakistan's treatment of Afridi since his arrest following the bin Laden raid has in many ways symbolized the gulf between Washington and Islamabad.

In the United States and other Western nations, Afridi was viewed as a hero who had helped eliminate the world's most-wanted man. But Pakistan army and spy chiefs were outraged by the raid, which led to international suspicion that they had been harboring the al-Qaida chief. In their eyes, Afridi was a traitor who had collaborated with a foreign spy agency in an illegal operation on its soil. Afridi, in his 50s, was detained sometime after the raid, but the start of his trial was never publicized.

Pentagon, CIA, White House opened up to Hollywood on bin Laden raid
5/23/12: Granted filmmakers unusual access to those involved in planning the raid
Just weeks after Pentagon and Central Intelligence Agency officials warned publicly of the dangers posed by leaks about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, top officials at both agencies and at the White House granted Hollywood filmmakers unusual access to those involved in planning the raid and some of the methods they used to do it, newly released government records show.

At a briefing in July 2011, Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence Mike Vickers told filmmakers Michael Boal and Kathryn Bigelow that the leaders of the the Special Operations Command couldn't speak to them for appearances' sake. However, Vickers said that the Pentagon would make available a Navy SEAL who was involved in planning the raid from its earliest stages. "On the operators side, Adm. McRaven and Adm. Olson do not want to talk directly, because it's just a bad, their [sic] just concerned as commanders of the force and they're telling them all the time—don't you dare talk to anybody, that it's just a bad example if it gets out—even with all sorts of restrictions and everything," Vickers said, according to a transcript of the meeting released Friday to Judicial Watch. The conservative watchdog group filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit demanding the documents. "The basic idea is they'll make a guy available who was involved from the beginning as a planner, a SEAL Team 6 Operator and Commander," McRaven said. "That's dynamite," Boal replied, according to the transcript. (Posted in full here and worth the read.)

Bigelow, best known for "The Hurt Locker," also chimed in. "That's incredible," she said, gratefully. "He'll speak for operators and he'll speak for senior military commanders," Vickers continued, adding that the designated SEAL would essentially be a mouthpiece for McRaven and Olson. "The only thing we ask is that you not reveal his name in any way as a consultant because again it's the same thing, he shouldn't be talking out of school, this at least gives him one step removed and he knows what he can and can't say," Vickers added, vouching that the SEAL cleared to meet with the filmmakers would be able to provide "lots of color." The Pentagon is now withholding from the public and the press the same name DoD gave the filmmakers. The response sent to Judicial Watch explains the deletion by citing privacy concerns as well as a statute allowing the Secretary of Defense to protect the names of members of "routinely deployable" and "sensitive" units. It is unclear whether the court will uphold such a withholding given that the name was already disclosed to a member of the public by a senior official, apparently with some forethought.

A Pentagon spokesman stressed Tuesday night that the name given to the filmmakers was not that of someone directly involved in carrying out the bin Laden raid. "The identity of a planner, not a member of SEAL Team 6, was provided by USSOCOM as a possible point of contact for additional information if the DoD determined that additional support was merited," Lt. Col. James Gregory said. "No additional official DoD support was granted, nor to our knowledge was it pursued by the film makers."

Maybe Lil ol Lady forgets the Hanoi Hilton?

Pretty damned petty picking on McCain that way. He deserves more respect for his time there.

Sure he's not a great politician...but his war record is impeccable!
