If it’s program says do X and it does Y, as happens millions of times a day, your point is moot.
 
Waymo Autonomous Trucks Haul Freight in Atlanta

Waymoo, a subsidiary of Alphabet, has been operating autonomous cars for a decade. They have logged 5 million miles.

They started operating freight trucks (18 wheelers) outside and around Atlanta back in March or April. If they can handle the idiots on Atlanta's highways, they should be fine.
