Yes, indeed we are a nation divided! Is there any hope that the great divide can be overcome? I suspect not. The New Deal, the Great Society and Obama's socialist agenda have over time created a whole class of citizens who believe someone else should provide for them and make decisions for them concerning their lives. They have sold their freedom for a pot of porridge wth little hope of ever getting it back. That group has become so large it is difficult to out vote them and so their masters are returned to office time after time as the means to continue living off the toil of other people.

The heritage of freedom is so deeply rooted in the United States, however, that those who do not want to live on the Federal Plantation will one day demand to be no longer a part of the socialist society and will separate themselves from it and thus the end of what was once the greatest Republic the world has known. Who will be to blame? Not the politicians! It will be the fault of what are now our fellow citizens who demanded so much from government that it collapsed under its own weight. We can only hope that the millions of freedom lovers will be able to carve out a new state that we can move to in order to escape the tyranny of a government that is no better than Castro's Cuba or Chavez's Venezuela. So, in order to prevent such a demise of the U.S. the greedy citizens who live off the toil of others will have to come across the divide on their own, and in mass. Only then will there be hope that freedom will not entirely disappear from the earth.
