We Agree!

A great satirical example of how out of control the government is. And yes, both parties think they have all the answers when all they really need to do is guard our liberties and get the hell out of the way.

Saaaaaaad attempt at humor.

Sorry, all I had was your stupid shit to work with... :dunno:

Should have just explained how the OP was not a bunch of hyperbolic libertarian "all government is evil" extremism rather than acting the fool.

Board rules won't allow me quote the entire article, so why don't you point out the parts that you think are 'hyperbolic crap' and I'll deal with them 1 at a time.

You really should, you know, it's YOUR assertion... :D

All of it, every word is a poor attempt at sarcasm without offering what this joker thinks is the proper level of government, I can only conclude that he thinks we should not be doing any of these things and leading an isolationist existence without a trace of a welfare state. It's 100% condemnation of everything government and 0% suggestions of how he thinks things should be. Did you have some other interpretation? Did you think it was funny or informative or anything more than a bunch of empty griping?

Non intervention is not isolation. North Korea is isolation,Switzerland is non intervention...learn the damn difference.

Just watching the conservative attitude towards diplomacy it is hard to envision them building a non-interventionist foreign policy, it's impossible actually since such a thing requires a deep respect for the sovereignty of other nations, they just do not have it in them with their devotion to exceptionalism dogma.

Did the thought ever cross your mind that those might not be mutually exclusive? There is NOTHING stopping someone from believing in 'American exceptionalism' and still respect the sovereignty of other nations. The duopoly has decided that anyone professing both is an enemy of 'the system', and must be destroyed.

Look at EVERY 3rd party candidate since Teddy Roosevelt.

What a load, conservative foreign policy involves little more than saber rattling and bluster backed up with the threat of more foreign adventures in killing brown people, there is no way on earth that can be transformed into anything close to the model of Switzerland. The more likely scenario is the all too common closing of ranks siege behavior common among conservatives everywhere, in short, isolationism.

What you fail to take into account are the number of Conservatives who aren't necessarily Republicans. Many of us don't support EITHER major party candidate, so for you to broad brush us with your drivel is completely uncalled for.

You too, are a victim of the duopoly...

Conservatives are the same world over and since the beginning of time, they suck ass at diplomacy yet the Swiss model requires some of the most skillful prolonged diplomacy the world has ever seen, you figure it out, ever met a hard core conservative that actually had a neutral position on anything?
