I didn't grow up a political guy, through college I was probably actually a left wing type, but not until I needed to start saving money, holding down steady work, looking at retirement, etc, did I become more conservative. And when you are pulling for one side or ideal, it gets fun to play the political game.

Well, this past 4 weeks I must say has been like watching one's favorite NFL team tear through the playoffs and win the Super Bowl.

Having the chance to not only see Obama extend tax cuts for the rich, but then to go on global television and scold the left for being pissed about it?

Imagine March 2009. Obama has been in for 2 months. If we could take a time machine back then, and tell ourselves "The day will come that Obama will extend tax cuts for the rich, AND then go on global TV and scold the left....".............I'd assume someone was lying to me.

But no. We just witnessed it. And if you also told me of March 2009 that DADT would still not be repealed, Gitmo would still be open, we'd do a troop surge in Afghanistan, AND start bombing Pakistan, and increase enforcement of illegal immigration (it's true, more arrested under Obama than Bush), and we'd take the House back by large margins, and Obama's approval rating would be below Bush's, ALL at the same time..............I'd say "What, did Obama turn out to be a closet Republican?" HAHAHAHAAA!!!

And to top it all off.....a 2% payroll tax cut. MORE money in my pocket.

Hell, at the rate this guy is going....................I'M GONNA CONSIDER VOTING FOR HIM IN 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

The left? Oh, you must be one of those "millionaire/billionaires".

Well, no, I wish I was. But I'm not. I do ok. I make about 65K a year. Saved some $$$ early though, so I'm not hurting.

BUT.....I do currently work for a millionaire. Me and all my coworkers do. And we don't want to get laid off if our owner's taxes go up. Now.....we know we wont. AND we are getting a 2% payroll tax reduction.

But seriously- if Obama keeps bowing down to the right, I may vote for him in 2012. We'll get most of what we want anyway. And if something goes bad, blame the Democrat in office hahahahaha!!!! It's the best of both worlds!!!!! OBAMA 2012!!!!

The 'left' is melting down because the bill is fiscally irresponsible and the right not only loves the meltdown,

they love the bill.

Question: how long did the Tea Party stand for fiscal conservatism? Would you measure in that weeks? days?

They should rename themselves the T party. T as in we want to add another T-rillion to the deficit as our very first signature action of the new year.

They have no principles and find it funny that dems are standing on theirs.

so much for the right wing meme that Obama is a socialist

naah..........oh, he's still an America hating socialist. Its just that his life-preservation instincts have kicked in. Researchers say it is the most profound instinct in all of us........the instinct to fight for survival.
Thers a new movie out about some poor fcukkk who had to cut his arm off to survive being caught in some cave..........of course Obama is going to say "FCUKK YOU" to ideology.

Watching the Teabagger-newbies, in D.C., doing a "Limbaugh" (bending-over & grabbing-their-ankles, for Lobbyi$t$), is much-more entertaining!!!!!

Question . . . why are they doing the 2% tax cut? Well yeah to put more money in our hands that will presumably help with the economy. What I mean is, that money is already being deducted and used for whatever. If they reduce it by 2% . . . what will they now use/how will they now pay for the whatever? This doesn't make sense to me.

How are they paying for the 13 more months (is that right, months??) of UE?

Have they even started to cut spending yet? I mean really cut it? At all? Bueller???

The new Congress isn't worn in until after the first of the year.

Gee, I could have sworn I heard incumbent Republicans saying that they'd gotten the message of the Tea Party.

Are you saying that was bullshit?

Or is the real truth that the Tea Party is in no way fiscally conservative, in other words, any Tea Party assertions to the contrary were also bullshit?

So much for libs denying socialism isn't at the heart of liberalism. Otherwise, you guys wouldn't be so mad to find out Obama ISN'T ONE!

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Running up massive deficits is not socialism, unless you think Reagan, Bush, and Bush were socialists.

This is about fiscal conservatism, in short, about paying for the government you get, or getting rid of the government you refuse to pay for.

No one who supports this tax plan can claim to be a fiscal conservative...

...so how many of you rightwing jackoffs thought you'd end up having to defer to the likes of ME as the more genuine fiscal conservative?

lol

Yea they sure are eating their own at this point. He didn't even bother negotiating with his own Party on this Tax Cut/Unemployment Deal. He bypassed them and went straight to the Republicans. That really does say it all about how far the Democratic Party has fallen. This is a bit unprecedented. He didn't even bother working with his own Party on this. Biden told them to "Take it or leave it." And that's that. This is fantastic entertainment for sure.
