Watching Right-wingers Melt Down...Again

The latest non-issue conservatives are treating as a crisis is San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s remaining seated during the national anthem.

Yes. Conservatives have this strange thing whereby they are all about freedom of expression until someone expresses an idea with which Conservatives disagree, which point the person who freely expressed their feelings/ideas becomes beset an beleaguered by remonstrations and recriminations of all sorts.

He stated his reason for his actions, that his stand “Is for People that don't have the voice,” and it is totally understandable and acceptable, to people of reason and conscience. However, to most conservatives, failure to stand for the national anthem is equal to an act of treason.

Of course, the same right-wingers view corporate America’s polluting of our air and water as acceptable because Big Business does it for profit. The right-wingers consider it to be the fat cats’ right to screw workers and consumers because that is the way of U.S. free market capitalism.

Yes, righties are up in arms over Colin Kaepernick, but when it comes to environmental destruction, needless wars, runaway defense spending, growing poverty, mass shootings, and a host of other issues truly detrimental to public interest, conservatives have no worries at all.

As a form of "fly-trap flatulence," fine....

Bullshit

Why is HIS right to free speech more important than mine?

Because he's richer?

Better known?

Black?

and yet we aren't out there demanding laws be passed, unlike leftist

Why don't you answer the question?

He won't stand for the flag, does he stand for equality?

Does he share with those less fortunate.

How much would half of his annual salary do for a ghetto?

How many disadvantaged children could he put thru college?
Who the fuck cares? That has nothing at all to do with the issue, which is liberty - stand or not, not your call.

I will defend to the death the right for Kaepernick, and you, to say incredibly stupid things.
Good. That's very liberal of you.

Actually, it was very American of me.

I'm pretty sure "American:" and "liberal" don't mean the same thing.
Liberty comes from Liberalism, the founding philosophy of this nation.
You are full of smears and lies. There's no rightwing meltdown. The asshole lives in a country that made him filthy stinking rich and he's somehow oppressed?

Liberalism is the antithesis of liberty. It relies on an all powerful government to micro-manage the citizens. There is nothing liberal about liberalism, it's a phony term just like everything else liberals do to sell their agenda.

The founders were very much aware of big heavy handed government, it's why they fought. Modern day liberals just want a dictator instead of a king.

This is a really lame straw man argument that totally fails to recognize the large variety of right wing ideas. This would be as if I said "left wingers are all seeking to abolish the concept of private property." No. Communists seek to do that, not liberal democrats. In the same fashion, if he wishes to sit, I find it unsavory but legal, I am not "outraged" or "up in arms" nor am I "having a meltdown" or "freaking out" or "losing it" or "going nuts."
. This moron and ?Beyoncés new choreography of cops killing blacks demonstrate the black assholes are race baiter S. Fuck them!

Lol. If anything, he is half of a man.

Don't fucking patronize these people. He propped himself like all the other drones. Big deal.

Then, you obviously aren't aware that the NY Giants had everybody - EVERYBODY - to include trainers, locker room personnel, scouting personnel, AND office workers - stand on the sidelines for the national anthem at their game ... a sign of solidarity and patriotism.

Sometimes, we forget the assholes of the world don't define it ... they should serve as reminders of the good people.
