Wasn't it Dubya's Policy to get Troops out of Iraq?...

You people need to stop that nonsense. When even Bush has admitted there were no WMD's, you really ought to get the clue that that argument is over.
Nonsense? Let's see: chemical agents were found in Iraq; chemical agents are WMDs; ergo WMDs were found.

Sure, every nation has chemical agents. The rationale for the war wasn't the mere presence of chemical agents. It was the intent to use it to attack the U.S. and/or its interests. That's where the disconnect is.

Every nation does not have chemical agents. Read the CWC.

I don't disagree with what you said, but when someone says no WMDs were found, they are flat wrong. I correct that every time I see it, and the left gives me plenty of opportunity to do so.

BAGHDAD, Aug. 13 -- U.S. troops raiding a warehouse in the northern city of Mosul uncovered a suspected chemical weapons factory containing 1,500 gallons of chemicals believed destined for attacks on U.S. and Iraqi forces and civilians, military officials said Saturday.

Monday's early morning raid found 11 precursor agents, "some of them quite dangerous by themselves," a military spokesman, Lt. Col. Steven A. Boylan, said in Baghdad.

Combined, the chemicals would yield an agent capable of "lingering hazards" for those exposed to it, Boylan said.

------------------

What is wrong with you? 1,500 gallons of a suspected chemical will fill a large Jacuzzi and that's enough to cost 4,000 American lives, a trillion dollars and 30,000 maimed? You can't be serious.
Yes, chemical agents (WMDs) were found, contrary to what you said: "WMD's, which of course were never found."

I copied that right out of YOUR LINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"lingering hazards" is NOT the same as "WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION". And a measly 1,500 gallons? Give it up.

The current agreement we have with Iraq requires all U.S. troops to be out of Iraq by the end of 2011. This is a Bush-brokered agreement but if this current President sticks to the agreement and gets us out on that time-table,i'm willing to give both men the credit for this. There have been similar time-tables established by this current Administration regarding Afghanistan. 2011 is their date for troop withdrawal in Afghanistan as well. We'll see if this happens though. It's time to get out of both Iraq & Afghanistan. If this current President does that,he will gain much more support from me. Credit can be shared. But lets just get the h*ll out of those countries.

"Lingering hazards" is not the same as WMD? Possibly.

Yet chemical agents ARE WMD.

They were found in Iraq.

Thus, your statement is flat wrong.

U.S.-Iraq Status of Forces Agreement: This George Bush-signed agreement with the Iraqi Government requires all U.S. Forces to be out of Iraq by December 31,2011.

I know Hopey Changey will try and take credit when this withdrawal happens too but this is a George Bush-signed agreement with the Iraqi Government. This is not an Obama plan.

There is something to be said about it happening 17 months ahead of schedule and the money we saved there. What do you suppose the chances of this happening were if Bush was still President?

Huh?

Actually, that's not true. Saddam agreed to destroy and document all chemical warfare agents. He then submitted documents stating that they were all in fact destroyed.

Turns out they weren't.

You guys are over the top. You'd defend shit with your last breath. If they found a pint of spoiled milk, you would show that as "evidence". You don't even know what WMDs are.

I feel so bad for the Iraqi women. Under Saddam they could file for divorce, work, attend school, teach, become doctors, nurses, lawyers.

You have a very rosy but misguided perception. Saddam terrorized entire towns at will.

The wore Western Style clothes and make-up.

Many still do.

Now, all those rights are gone.

Evidence?

They live in Burkas. Can't go outside without a male escort. Can't go to school. Have no health care. They've become "slave"

Any actual evidence?

Here are some Iraqi women:

and we did that to them. No wonder Iraq hates our guts. They can thank the Republicans.

You really have no clue do you? You're getting all your information secondhand through biased sources.

Sarin and Ricin are considered "Weapons of Mass Destruction." Binary agents were found in spite of Saddam's declaration that all had been destroyed.

The UN Documented 109 Facilities and Sealed them just before our Invasion of Iraq... These Facilities... According to the UN, had Banned long-range Missiles and WMD...

When we got to them, the Stockpiles were gone.
