Yeah, they started shipping up lots of booze.

Sale of booze never stopped, it just became illegal. Lots of crime resulted, police used for raids rather than actual crime. Bad alcohol harmed many.

Has there been any attempt to calculate the net inflow of money into Canada from the US as a result of US prohibition?
