Was Obama a good US Senator???

He was present.

I think the word "present" went over your head...
Here using the Internet learn what this was meant ...

In the end, Mr. Obama chose neither to vote for nor against the bill. He voted “present,” effectively sidestepping the issue, an option he invoked nearly 130 times as a state senator.

I dunno, I did not live in his state.
Nor did I hear much about him before his run for pres.
Neither had I heard of Palin before McCain picked her.

I'm not sure if we are on the same side or not. Perhaps it's "over my head"?

At any rate, I think voting present nearly 130 times does not make a good senator.

He was a very good state senator and a very good senator and is a very, very good president.

The Salt Lake City Tribune endorsed Obama. They know Romney. They said there were "too many Mitts".

Romney is behind around 30 points in a state where he was governor. They remember him. They know what kind of Governor he was and what kind of president he will be.

You guys walked right in to that one.
