Was Jesus a Socialist or Capitalist?

Jesus was the first socialist, he seeks a better world for mankind. Not just one, but ALL humanity and that's what Socialists are fighting for.

Jesus said .. “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me

Does that sound Capitalistic to you?

He was neither.

For those that believe in Him, He was our Lord and savior....a manifestation of God.

Jesus was a Zealot.

Jesus was just a Jew and an everyday run of the mill liberal

Capitalists also seek a better world for mankind and all humanity.

Yes. It sounds like private charity.

This is such a stupid topic.

He was talking about how you should treat your neighbor, and urged that if you saw him in need you not remain indifferent, but share a part of your personal wealth to ease his suffering. He never advocated any particular kind of government though. Socialism wasn't even invented until the 18th century.

If he were alive today I am sure he would not endorse socialism. Enslavement to the collective is inherently evil, as demonstrated by every socialist state that ever existed, and therefore contrary to God.
