Warning. Doomsday Clock has gone one minute forward.

"The clock is a symbol of the threat of humanity's imminent destruction from nuclear or biological weapons, climate change and other human-caused disasters."

Oh, Dear.

That is bad.

What to do?

Oh, Dear.

That "clock" concept has been around since 1947.
When did they include global warming?
And for that matter... why?

There are still enough doomsday weapons lying around and there are still Buttons and there are still nervous unimaginative people with access to Buttons. While the threat is lower than when I grew up under the cold war threat, it is never wise to totally discount that threat as long as we have the ability to sterilize our biosphere.
