'Warm blob' in Pacific Ocean linked to weird weather across the US

Yanno.................instead of using the various weather patterns (over no more than 2 years), maybe you should listen to what is actually going on and try to help the planet.

One: The weather patterns today have been seen many times over throughout history. So it is not weird by any means.

Two: The warm blob is the PDO turning cold and the end of the El NADA that failed and is now dispersing along the coast line just as it has done for centuries. in just a short month it will be gone as will any temperature spike that may have been aligned with it.

Three: The alarmist shills wont admit natural variation and cyclical behaviors of the earth... it is all man caused now...

Trying to reason with an alarmist is like reasoning with a rock..

Image 25 predicts an El Nino through January, 2016.

A strong to very strong El Nino. Going to be an interesting year.
you have to leave here if there isn't one. okay?

From the linked and unread article, "The new study explores the blob's origins. It finds that it relates to a persistent high-pressure ridge that caused a calmer ocean during the past two winters, so less heat was lost to cold air above. The warmer temperatures we see now aren't due to more heating, but less winter cooling."

It's NOT due to ManMade Global Climate Change Warming

Yeah, you and your nutty Decline Hider friends need to throw ice cubes at the Blob

You see, the 2013-2014 “blob” was just the beginning. In the summer of 2014, warm water also showed up off the California coast. And then, in the fall of last year, “a major change in the wind and weather pattern between Hawaii and the West Coast caused the two warm blobs to merge and expand to fill the entire northeast Pacific Ocean,” says Nate Mantua of NOAA’s Southwest Fisheries Science Center, a co-author of one of the new studies, by e-mail.

According to Mantua, the emergence of the new and consolidated “blob” may be a very significant development with global consequences. That’s because it may relate to a much larger pattern of ocean temperatures called the Pacific Decadal Oscillation, or PDO. A shift in this oscillation, in turn, may be a sign that the planet is on the verge of getting warmer, some scientists say.

The Pacific Ocean may have entered a new warm phase and the consequences could be dramatic - The Washington Post

This is a newpaper article, now to see what is in the scientific journals on this subject.

Pick a story -- and stick with it for more than one post

The "blob"..........another cherry picked climate anomaly that pops up a few times a year anywhere on the globe and for the AGW k00ks, it is an "Ahhh Haaaa!!" moment = "lets sell k00k science and use this............":biggrin::eusa_dance:
