My friend in Hoboken reports she finally had her power restored!
Many of us were worried like he!! for her.

She is happy that she can toast bagels again!

i saw on the news last night they have restored power to nearly 800 k.......that is impressive....

Have a friend who is a power company lineman here who is in the crew New Mexico sent to the east. Got an e-mail from him last night. They are working from dawn's first light until the sun sets and they can't see anymore and it is slow going and dangerous work. Frustrations that there is still so much debris blocking access into areas they need to get into. They are really working against the clock today to get as much done as possible before the next storm hits tomorrow.
