These horses were originally bred as "war horses" in the days of knights and armor. As armor got heavier, bigger horses were needed and the Friesian almost became extinct. They are back
and are one of the most beautiful horses in stature as well
as gait. What gorgeous animals!! Just watching them becomes
an emotional experience. Can you imagine what it would be
like to ride one? When performing on grass, their hoofs do
not kick up a divot, as they land flat footed.
Creatures such as these are what makes this world so
special. These horses are native to the Netherlands . Have
your audio on.

Yup they are lovely and gentle giants.

My horse is a 23yr old Quarter Horse. He's a great guy and whoever trained him did one hell of a job.

Horses rock.

I've had many horses in my life and showed for about ten years.

Between Annie and Squire I had a thirty gallon garbage bag full of ribbons. Many blues included and trophies. Hated dusting those things. LOL

Now I just trail ride. Red, the horse I have right now was given to me. He's a great well trained horse and easy to be around.

Horses are loads of fun but they are an expensive hobby.
