It’s not a case of déjà vu.

The American public again appears supportive of starting a war in the Middle East, with two polls indicating a near-majority would support a military attack on Iran to prevent the country from developing nuclear weapons.

In a Rasmussen poll released Monday, 48 percent of respondents said they would want the United States to assist Israel if it choses to unilaterally attack Iran.

A poll conducted by The Hill found that 49 percent believe the U.S. should be willing to use military force to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Only 31 percent disagreed.

The findings come in the midst of the Republican presidential race. Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum have indicated a willingness to attack Iran, whereas Ron Paul has vehemently opposed a hypothetical attack and expressed concern about “war propaganda,” comparing the situation to the lead-up to the Iraq war.

Iran has a population of approximately 75 million people — more than twice the population of Iraq — and is about four times larger in area.

Now ask them if we can raise all the income tax brackets 10% to pay for it and then see how much support there is.

How many of them would be in support of it if they had a son or daughter that would have to go over to Iran? man the draft was a good thing because alot more people had stake in wars and made them think twice about it, now the average joe with no Military ties just says fuck it invade Iran or Syria :(

Yes, a draft makes the President and Congress much more responsible and responsive to the heartland of American families.

More War will only benefit the Global Elite and Military Industrial Complex. Average American Citizens will not benefit in any way. In fact, more War will only result in their children being slaughtered and more crushing debt forced onto the backs of their children's children. Perpetual War for perpetual peace has run its course. We've only gotten the perpetual War. Where's the perpetual peace?

With our newly gayed up military! The only way we would fight a war is if the enemy needed massive redecoration.

Wjy not use.my suggestions?elite teams, not mass troops or nation building, and lessen our groom lake stockpile....the reason the percentage is high ismore americans support the jews.
