A fire broke out Monday evening at a Waqf guard post on the roof of the Al-Marwani mosque in Solomon's Stables in the Temple Mount compound. According to Arab reports, the position was set on fire and caused considerable damage.
Eventually, the fire was extinguished by the fire brigade that belongs to the Temple Mount compound.
No injuries were reported.

For those who don't know, Waqf guards are the religious authorities of the Kingdom of Jordan on the Temple Mount. Among basic responsibilities they have like keeping the buildings Muslim buildings, and piling garbage with antiquities on the Mountain, their main responsibilities is to make sure no one else except Muslims can pray at the holy site.
Eventually, the fire was extinguished by the fire brigade that belongs to the Temple Mount compound.
