UN Peacekeepers are for all intents and purposes the same thing as US troops. Most of them are US troops, on loan.

She's trying to make a point about some lives being less valued than others. She's making a point about life, and all you see is "guns". Which in a way proves exactly her point -- to you, guns are more important than lives.
