That Walsh is a knowledgeable and effective representative isnt the issue.
At issue is this is indicative of the GOPs unwillingness to work with the president to address the Nations problems. This is not good or responsible governance ignoring the president, his proposals and plans is not going to move the country forward, it will keep us in gridlock. And that indeed seems the republican plan.
All on the GOP since the president is soooo forthcoming....
Your point would be a lot stronger if it wasn't filled with hackery. His competence IS in question and it is clear he is making a statement: he is not going to listen to more of this political grandstanding and demanding more money be spent. The left will think this is incompetent and the right a good statement to make. I am all for working to get things done but it is clear that no one actually want to work to get anything done. It is the ENTIRE government at this point that is unable to address these issues, not just the GOP, Congress or the White House.
