Wall Steet VS. OWS: Who's Winning This War?

If Wall Street loses, the economy crashes, businesses fold, and we start eating one another. If OWS loses people go to work without stepping over the shit some OWS protester left on their porch.

Precisely. Yet, I would venture to say that 99% of the OWS crowd fails to grasp this. I would also venture to say that their 1% puppetmasters do. Perhaps that's the plan?

the OWS mission was the change the narrative from deficits to income inequity.

In that sense OWS was successful.

FWIW, there was no "war" so the premise of this thread is somewhat bogus.

They're easily led by the nose...and the puppet masters know it. By design indeed.

Wall Street sure has been crowing about their recent big gains. Looks like they've shaken off the OWS hysteria.

Is it me or has anyone else noticed the same Obama/OWS supporters are always here boasting about how well Wall Street is doing these days? Are these people mixed up or what? They can't even grasp what their Talking-Points should be anymore. They hate Wall Street, they love Wall Street. Which is it? I can't keep up with the Left anymore. Bizarre stuff.

I think you're full of shit. The movement has no political agenda and isn't sided with liberals or conservatives. Everyone in the movement has their own beliefs about what they want the movement to accomplish and that's why you see everything from anarchists to socialists and so on. Not to mention, last time I checked anyways, they were planning on protesting the Democratic Convention because in the end both parties are corrupt. This whole thread is such a joke :uhoh3:

Neither party is offering the ultimate prize. A guaranteed income sufficient to satisfy their every desire while they lay around high on drugs. The democrats come the closest.

Wall Street will win as long as the citizens remain passive = screwing ourselves

You do know that you can invest in the market too don't you?

By not taking advantage of the market you're only screwing yourself.

Wrong. The Man is keeping him down. Some vague, amorphous, undefined The Man who, when given sufficient scrutiny, bears a striking resemblance to laziness and a sense of entitlement.

You're misinformed. OWS is fully funded & endorsed by the Democratic Party,George Soros, and many other far Left organizations. They may have started out as having no political agenda or being non-partisan,but that's long long gone now. The far Left Entitlement nutters control OWS completely. Now it's just all about the "Gimme Gimme Gimme" Entitlement stuff. They had a chance to do something good in the beginning. But now that opportunity is gone forever.

OWS changed the discussion. That alone is a major victory. If the Dems follow up, and use the real inequities that exist in our system, present remedies for those inequities, we may see some real progress this election.
You do know, don't you, that your saintlike Dems are perpetuating and profiting from those inequities?

They don't give a shit about you, Roxy. But you just keep blindly pulling that D lever.

Even if Soros did contribute to the movement, they're still way to unorganized to have a leader or any sort of agenda for that matter. Regardless of the movement itself winning however, they are bringing economic inequality and political corruption into the lives of the masses, and as I've said before, politics is actually becoming a talking point amongst people of all ages... something that hasn't really been seen since the radio shifted the focus of the people towards celebrities and other useless bullshit. The fact of the matter is, the people running our government (with the exception of a few) are looking out for their own interests and not the peoples. That's something that needs to change, wouldn't you agree?

Wall Street is winning, they always do, but that does not make the battle any less worth fighting because the alternative is to be scared little serfs afraid to speak up and irritate the bosses.

What would be a sign that Wall Street was losing, a huge financial panic?
