Walker Recall Could be the Best Thing For Democrats

You ever, in this country's history, see anything as radical as the "Bush Doctrine"?

YES! It's called the "Obama Agenda."

And it's 10 times more frightening than whatever it is you assume the "Bush Doctrine" to be.

There really isn't much radicalism coming from the "left"..at least not Democrats.

The zealotry has been coming from the right.

You ever, in this country's history, see anything as radical as the "Bush Doctrine"?

And now Bush is considered a RINO.

It's frightening.

Bush was always a RINO when it came to spending.

He beat Kerry on social issues.

Don't watch Ed Shultz much, do you ?

The guy doesn't have a sane idea (or many ideas at all).

But his zealot hatred of the GOP is all to clear in every show he does.

Where, exactly, do you see a compromise between

a. big government vs. small government?

b. individualism vs. collectivism?

c. equality of opportunity and equality of outcome?

No, friend, one or the other must prevail, or there is no future for America.

Your argument would hold more water if you were living off the land in a shack in Alaska. Unfortunately, like most conservatives who benefit great from "collectivism" and big "government", you don't. You live in Big Government New York..in Big Government Brooklyn.

And very much like "Small Government" Michelle Bachmann, who's family farm benefitted from the pork it recieved, you come off in very much the same light.

You don't like "collectivism" and "big government" when it doesn't benefit you personally.

Once again, you have the scenario backwards.

It is government that benefits from the labor of its citizens.

The big government crowd must convince folks that there is a magical way that each can get everything they want and need, and it will all be paid for by someone else....

....you believe that, don't you?

The avalanche of transfer payments are accepted by the public only if they are trained to accept what William Voegeli calls ‘non-Euclidean economics,” in which taxpayers are led to believe that all the goodies are paid for by someone else….the welfare state manages the perceptions of its costs and benefits to encourage them to believe an impossibility: that every household can be a net importer of the wealth redistribution by the government.”
William Voegeli, “Never Enough, America’s Limitless Welfare State,” p. 7.

He beat Kerry with Diebold machines.

It all comes back to President Bush. That really was the last time democrats won. They were successful in portraying Bush as the Great Evil, even though he was miles better than obama. Since it was the last time they won, democrats believe that if they can recreate that public opinion, they will win again. To democrats Bush is the new Hitler! Except it isn't working. Democrats need to move on, Bush isn't the ex-wife anymore.

On the other hand, carry on. Democrats are the guy in the street shooting at random motorists because his girlfriend dumped him for being too crazy to stay with.

As opposed to the Obama doctrine, "When in doubt, send a drone and take them out?"

I love the smell of left wing nut desperation on a Wednesday morning!

Smells like... pussy.

If this doesn't wake them up then what will.

Smoke another joint dumbass. The Walker loss is the WORST thing that could happen to Dimocrats. Walker might be the most conservative (definitely the bravest) governor in the country and he kick ass in a very liberal state (where the progressive movement was founded).

Politicians across the board are secretly applauding this win. They too want to take on the corrupt Unions that are bankrupting their states.

This is horrendous for the Dimocrats, because it's going to destroy their more important supporters - The PUBLIC SECTOR UNIONS! In WI public sector union enrollment is down over 50%! These were reliable sheep for Democrats, not to mention gigantic DONORS!

There is nothing good for the Democrats with the Walker win. However the COUNTRY got a huge win and enormous gift! We said we are NOT Europeans, we are Americans and we like it that way!

No amount of truth or reality is going to wake up democrats .. who are every bit as partisan blind as are republicans.

Democrats will still continue to make excuses for Obama and hope that nobody is paying attention.

Democrats make the lesser of the two evils aurgument. I feel the difference between the two are Democrats want a big government to help everyone and Republicans want a big government to help the rich and control the poor.

Of course you see them as the lesseer, since your an unemployed pothead, with no skills, no education and no desire to go out and get any skills, education or job. You like your handouts and will fight to the death to keep them! You a picture perfect Democratic voter. You will be statisfied with crumbs from the table and never seek a seat at the table!

I look at it this way.

If the people of Wisconsin think that Walker is the governor for them. Fine.

If the people of Wisconsin were bought by the Koch brothers, they deserve what they got. Fine.

I have yet to see this being a referendum on Obama tho.

Then you are deaf, dumb and blind as well as stupid. Cant wait until Novemeber.

Nothing will 'wake up' Democrats, because the way they are controlled by the radicals leaves them incapable of compromising any of their commie platforms.

The Democratic Party must be dismantled and rebuilt with blue dogs.

Very true, but with a far leftist in the white house and far leftist leading the party like Reid, Durbin and Pelosi, that won't happen anytime soon!

Funny you mention European..which have been trying the whole "Free Market" conservativism along with austerity for the last decade now. And they've deregulated the shit out of their banking/financial system.

How's that working out?

Neither can I.

Most polls had Walker ahead..in the state.

Most polls have Obama ahead in the country.

Even with Walker voters..in Wisconsin.
