I use my computer and MP3's as an alarm clock. Currently I have it set to wake me up to 'Untitled' by 'Simple Plan'. It's not a cheery song and probably not a great way to start your day!

I need a song that will not only wake me up peacefully (*Note - no Megadeth, Slayer or Motorhead!), but also leave me with a positive note.

    I F***ing Hate You - Godsmack? :D

Seriously now, waking up to a rounding rendition of "I Stand Alone" is what I go with. I use my CD Player/Alarm Clock though.

    The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony

Flaming Lips - Race For the Prize

Flaming Lips - Waiting on a Superman

I'll suggest the Polyphonic Spree, but they might be a little too upbeat for you. Anyway, "Light and Day" is a good one by them.

If I heard that so early in the morning I would probably smash my speakers, computer and then possibly my own head! :)
