Wagyu top cap steak vs. Prime cap steak

did you cook them yet?

The Prime cap is out and resting before the sear.About ten to fifteen minutes.
The Wagyu has about another ten degrees before I pull it and rest it.
I kinda messed up my time. I put the Prime cap in early because it was bigger but I missed my estimate by about ten minutes when it comes to the Wagyu.

ten minutes?! Which way?

My post pretty much explains it.
I put the thicker Prime cut on first since it was thicker,
I didnt take into account the extra marbling in the Wagyu which extended the cook time.
I probably could have put them in at the same time.

I just BBQ a $10 steak a few minutes ago..it was very tender and good...I thought $10 was over priced
$200??!!
I'm happy with just about any food I get....I'm not picky

The wife and I are foodies.
We love to cook high end meats and difficult recipes in general and test the different methods.
I've got 2 kids and no $$$$
...ever since I've read about WW2 and the starvation all over the world, since I was around 14 or 15, I've greatly appreciated any food I get
...I really enjoy simple food--like hot dogs, soup, sandwiches, etc

I'm down for a good dog.
But occasionally we like to push the limits.
Being DINKS makes it a whole lot easier.

my most elaborate dish is stuffed Vienna fish

We're apt to spend two or three hundred bucks on a dinner we cook at home.
Not that we do it all the time, more like two or three times a month.
When it comes to eating out we do about the same dollar wise around 4 times a month.

Not having kids makes it easy.

Try a case of Ramen noodles..I used to eat them when they were ten for a dollar.

The smell of the poop reflects the high cost of the food.
