Wage Drop Has Been Worst In Decades

The pity is..I see this all the time in the IT market. It's much more subtle and widespread. However, part of it was brought on by some of the techs themselves..because they refused to commit to any company and stay on..sometimes for decades..as consultants.

headhunters. It doesn't really matter, labor is supposed to be afforded the same free market rights that all commodities have, not to be bound to surrender their legal rights as a condition of employment.

It's like banks and credit card companies. They won't do business with you unless you sign contracts that you don't even see but that assign them the right to change the terms of your agreement after the fact.

It's a one sided arrangement.

And now more and more employers are forcing people to sign 1099's as an independent contractor even waiving any unemployment or workers comp benefits.
That is forcing them if they want to work. they can choose to go bankrupt, lose their home, etc if they want I suppose.

Commodification of labor has been a UN goal from the get-go.

The US is part of the UN and has promoted commodification upwards for a minimum of 60 years.

The various US and international bureaucracies have managed to screw the pooch through use of two dimensional models but that is more or less to be expected.

What is CT about the above?
