I just want to say that so often after there is a shooting that the snide remarks ensue - "where was the good guy with a gun that you all keep saying is the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun". On that note, I present to you Pastor David George ...

The armed civilian referred to as a “hero” recently spoke out for the first time since shooting a carjacking suspect at a Walmart in Tumwater. Pastor David George previously chose to remain anonymous for his family and church. Now hoping to clear the air, he described the events leading up the shooting.

“I heard shots fired near the back of the store,” George said. “I was concerned for my own family, and I sought to find them and exit the building. It was at this point the gunman passed by waving and pointing his gun.”
