Voter ID laws boost democracy

You must realize though that "boosting Democracy" is not the objective of liberals. Their objective is to bring communism/marxism/socialism to America by any means necessary - including voter fraud.

That's why their entire agrument is so asinine. Trying to make the case that people should not be required to legally vote is as fucking absurd as trying to make the case that murder should be permitted.

If you two are done sword fighting, the adults need to talk about real issues, so quiet down and clean yourselves up.

I've been done for 10 minutes, but I suppose her heart is broken so she continues to reply to me even after I told her that I'm ignoring her.

Did I say anything about Amy, you nitwit? I was talking about you and rottwieller and your "male bonding."

Sheesh, can you take your head out of your ass for a second? If you want to play "my team is always right" feel free to post with TM. I'm not into attempting discussions with someone who has liberal turrets.

But for the record, I'm not agaisnt voter ID. I'm agaisnt voter laws that favor a specific demographic, and suspicious of rushed changes that only seem to be an issue in the months leading up to national elections.

Your definition of "rushed" is anything that takes effect before the 2012 election.

Thank you for telling me what I really think, I'd be lost without you.

I was definitely acting childish. I need to curb the urge to poke fun at the birther.

Voter fraud is voter fraud. Do you not agree?
And it occurs 0.0006th of the time.

Prove it.
Here you go...

There is no documented wave or trend of individuals voting multiple times, voting as someone else, or voting despite knowing that they are ineligible. Indeed, evidence from the microscopically scrutinized 2004 gubernatorial election in Washington State actually reveals just the opposite: though voter fraud does happen, it happens approximately 0.0009% of the time. The similarly closely-analyzed 2004 election in Ohio revealed a voter fraud rate of 0.00004%. National Weather Service data shows that Americans are struck and killed by lightning about as often.

If he did, he should have been called out on it and punished accordingly. Since it was known and I assume proven that he did, and nothing was done, then there is nothing more to say two years later.

He was one man casting one vote...his own. He didn't make an attempt to vote multiple times or deceive anyone if in fact that is what he tried to do.. which he didn't.

Why don't you address dogs, (the one Obama ate can no longer vote of course) cats and dead people on Democratic voter rolls.

Did you just not say that voter fraud is handled in all cases? So why the concern?

Not me.

I increased the size and bolded here you said it. Or did that only apply to that single case of voter fraud?

Where'd you pull THIS POS statement? I noticed you didn't bother with a link, you must already know that it's nothing but propaganda...

The Challenge of Obtaining Voter Identification | Brennan Center for Justice

Ten states now have unprecedented restrictive voter ID laws. Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin all require citizens to produce specific types of government-issued photo identification before they can cast a vote that will count. Legal precedent requires these states to provide free photo ID to eligible voters who do not have one. Unfortunately, these free IDs are not equally accessible to all voters. This report is the first comprehensive assessment of the difficulties that eligible voters face in obtaining free photo ID.

The actual turnout of Democratic and minority voters went up, not down, in Georgia and Indiana after their voter-ID laws went into effect, and those increases were larger than in many states without voter-ID laws.

The Brennan Center for Justice at the New York University school of Law?

Do you think it's possible to find a more left-wing organization in the entire U.S.?

You'll have to excuse us if we find your source less than credible. After all, what could be more credible than a gang of left-wing lawyers with an axe to grind?

Ad hominem's are not valid rebuttal's.

The opinion piece starts right out with a tired logical fallacy. They obliterate their integrity so badly with this opening it isn't even worth reading the rest.

You cannot board an airplane, ride an Amtrak train, buy a six-pack of beer or a pack of cigarettes, open a checking account, enter many public and some private office buildings or even attend an NAACP convention without proving that you are who you say you are. You cannot even qualify for means-tested public support programs such as Medicaid without valid identification.

I've explained the idiocy of this illogic many times. Have my efforts been wasted, or can any of you Voter ID proponents remember what is wrong with the quoted paragraph?

I am guessing the debunking of this kind of shit just slides right off your smooth-as-a-baby's-ass brains.
