Surely you aren't talking about those huge metal cabinets monstrosities with the levers that my parents used in the 60's are you? We've been using "scanners" for years and they work great. Mark your ballot in a cardboard booth, walk up to the machine, slide the ballot into the slot and boom you are out the door. I had 200 people in front of me and it only took about 30 minutes fro mthe time I got in line until I was in my truck. Oh yeah, we "suppress" the "disenfranchised" vote here by requiring that burdensome photo ID. Not a single person complained.
