All I can say is, WHAT THE FUCK?

Those who peer at children in public could find themselves on the wrong side of the law in Maine soon.
A bill that passed the House last month aims to strengthen the crime of visual sexual aggression against children, according to state Rep. Dawn Hill, D-York.
Her involvement started when Ogunquit Police Lt. David Alexander was called to a local beach to deal with a man who appeared to be observing children entering the community bathrooms. Because the state statute prevents arrests for visual sexual aggression of a child in a public place, Alexander said he and his fellow officer could only ask the man to move along.
"There was no violation of law that we could enforce. There was nothing we could charge him with," Alexander said.

Remind me to stay out of Maine. I would hate to go to jail simply because I looked at a child with sexual aggression.

Big Black Dog:
I undress lots of women with my eyes. Is that against the law too?

Could be...depending.

Why is leering deliberate passionate harassment?

Just depends on, how, when, why, where you might be staring at a female.

If the woman is 37, you're 40 and a George Clooney type, ...and you're not staring for very long, you might not have any problems.

If you're 40, the woman is 21, you look like a monster, or just a normal man, the reaction could be totally different.

Sexual harassment, basically.

If the woman feels threatened and calls the cops, you'd need to prove you weren't doing what you were actually doing, but instead watching the baseball game on the tv in the background. :disbelief:

I've read head scratchers and forehead slappers.

But this takes the cake.

How would you define, let alone enforce such ubber non-sense?

Hold on a second. When women leer at my supple ripped piggish body, why can't I claim to be a victim?

80 year old Grandpa is charged with felony sexual visual aggression for watching children play at the park. News at 11.

More liberal, left think, control your every action and thought, political correctness run amok.

One more prime example liberalism is a mental disorder.

Politicians have to justify their salaries. They've given up working on real problems so they have to invent some. NJ just proposed a law outlawing photographs of children without parental consent. We are living in bizarro world.

We'd all be better off if they just took a 12 month vacation. They could still get paid and we'd be ahead of the game.

It's not important to enforce it.

It's important that the left find wedge-issues. They come up with these silly proposals, wait for the right to take a stand, and simply oppose it.

"HOW CAN YOU BE FOR LEARING AT CHILDREN YOU EVIL RIGHTWINGER!!!"

Marketers can sexualize girls at younger and younger ages, selling ever more revealing and sexy clothes, swim suits and the like to little girls, which in turn naturally draws more attention to them looking like little pole dancers or hookers, but OH NO, DON'T YOU DARE LOOK AT THEM!

Sheeeezuz freakin' Christ... this world is going insane.

I can visualize the problem (some DOM hangs around places obviously too interested in young kids) but thesolution seems rather difficult to write into law.

The old time solution is for some father or aggressive mother just to chase the DOM off.

Basically if the law is written badly, it will end up making every man a potential victim of some mother's paranoia.

I agree that this is a stupid law but I'm shocked to find out that you look at children with sexual aggression. Though all those threads lying about the TSA groping children did make me wonder if you were protesting too much.

Your honor. We present to you this man who had a " little boy I'ma gonna fuck you in the ass" look oh his face and we have a panel of 25 specialists who agree.
Councelor, you may sit now while I address the defendant.
"Monsignor, how do you plea" ?

If someone leers at my little girls, they will fall under my stern gaze, if they persist, I am not above getting ruthless to keep my family safe.
