It should all be agreed to be moved to museums where people have to view it in proper context or it is to be left just like it is.

I don't care one way or another if it is removed, but you have a good idea, two or three big museums with the all the history for the ones who want to reflect. Could be a money maker for someone. I'm not from the south but really enjoyed going to Vicksburg about 20 years ago. Or move all of them to one city and set them up around town like the monuments in D.C.

The state that Lee was from, Virginia, and Virginia, using its states rights, decided that towns and cities had the rights to determine what kind of statues and memorials could or would be displayed on public property in Lee's home state of Virginia. The city held hearings and the city council voted to change the name of the park named after Lee and remove the statue of Lee.
