Why do you think it is wrong to shine a spotlight on wrong doing? Just because the universties involved want the problem to go away that is no reason not to get to the bottom of bad research and possibly criminal behaviour that affects billions of dollars in research funding and trillions of dollars in AGW transfers. Why should Mann's actions be allowed to be covered up? And why did the universities break their own rules investigating him?
