CDZ Violent crime in Britain, up 24%, Violent gun crime in U.S. down 75%, with our guns?

How is it possible that British violent crime, including gun crime has gone up...violent crime in total 24%, and gun crime by 10% in London and other major cities....

While gun murder in the U.S. has gone down 49% since the 1990s, and all violent crime went down 75% since the 1990s...as more Americans bought guns and now over 15 million Americans carry guns legally,,,?

CCTV captures shooting during 12-man brawl in north London

Shots were fired during a confrontation involving at least 12 men in a quiet suburban street, police have revealed.

CCTV footage shows three car-loads of men, thought to be rival gangs, pull up in a residential street in north London, before squaring up to each other in the lamplight.

One hooded man pulls away from the huddle, points a handgun towards a driver’s seat and apparently fires as the car reverses away.
--------
Latest figures show a 10 per cent increase in firearms incidents – up to 2,122 – in the past year.

Violent crime in England and Wales was up 24 per cent during the 12 months ending June this year, according to an Office for National Statistics report.=====================

Homicides in England and Wales up 14%

The police-recorded crime figures include a 9% rise in knife crime and a 4% rise in gun crime, which are thought to reflect a rise in gang violence largely in London and Manchester.

The rise in gun crime is the first recorded for eight years and includes a 10% rise in London.
The official statisticians say that a 36% rise in sexual offences, including the highest number of rapes since 2003 – at 33,341 – reflect a greater willingness of victims to come forward to report such crimes rather than a re
al surge in attacks.

The U.S....

Gun Homicide Rate Down 49% Since 1993 Peak; Public Unaware

Compared with 1993, the peak of U.S. gun homicides, the firearm homicide rate was 49% lower in 2010, and there were fewer deaths, even though the nation’s population grew. The victimization rate for other violent crimes with a firearm—assaults, robberies and sex crimes—was 75% lower in 2011 than in 1993. Violent non-fatal crime victimization overall (with or without a firearm) also is down markedly (72%) over two decades.
Correlation does not imply causation. I think a more accurate corollary can be drawn with the drastic increase of Africans and South Asians in London since '97. London's population is now only 40% indigenous.

Well lets see- the UK firearm homicide rate is almost non-existent- compared to the United States.

I am glad that the fire arm homicide rate in the United States is coming down. Imagine how low it would be if we had as few guns in circulation as the UK?

And of course you hide the truth.....the truth is Britain had a low gun crime and gun homicide rate compared to the U.S. long before they began enacting their gun control laws....right? Do you understand that point?

So....they had a low gun crime, gun murder rate before 1996...then they had a massacre in Dunblane, Scotland.....and banned and confiscated their guns.....in order to cut down on gun crime and gun violence...right? Do you understand that point?

So...by doing that, in order for your point to be remotely relevant.....by banning and confiscating the guns of their law abiding citizens, they would have had to experience a decline in their gun crime and gun murder rate....because they banned and confiscated guns...right? Are you following that?

So what actually happened.....after they banned and confiscated the guns of law abiding British citizens...the ones not using their guns for gun crime and gun murder?

Their gun crime rate spiked...that means that after they banned and confiscated guns.....they went from a low gun crime and gun murder rate....to a higher gun crime and gun murder rate...for years after the 1996 ban. Do you understand that?

Then, after years of increased gun crime and gun murder......their levels of gun crime and gun murder went back down to the same level they were at before they banned and confiscated guns from law abiding British citizens who did not use their guns for gun crime and gun murder....do you understand that point?

So....and this is the important part..........their gun control laws that they implemented to reduce their gun crime and their gun murder........didn't change their gun murder or gun violence rate.

Do you understand what that means?

It means that guns in the hands of normal people were not creating gun murder or gun crime....

And so...as we have seen, criminals in Britain still got guns.....they are now getting more guns....after they banned and confiscated guns...

And after the ban..in 2016....their gun crime rate went up 42% in London...their capitol city.....

So their low gun murder rate has nothing to do with guns.....it has everything to do with British criminals, who have guns, not using those guns to commit murder...

But they are getting guns....lots of guns...and now they are starting to use them for gun crime....why?

Because their social welfare system is creating young, aggressive, sociopaths.....young males raised by teenage mothers without adult men as fathers....and they have no empathy for others....and they are beginning to act on that lack of empathy....they are using their illegal guns to shoot each other......

So you may point to the low gun murder rate right now...but it isn't going to stay low......

And after they banned and confiscated guns to stop shootings like Dunblane....in 2010....14 years after the ban...they had the Cumbria spree shooting....where the guy used a legal shotgun and .22 rifle to kill 12 people...after they banned guns...

Almost...the point to my thread is that British criminals have had guns before and after they banned guns for normal British citizens.....the fact that the criminals are now using them more comes from the breakdown of British cultural norms, and part of that comes from importing people from 3rd world war zones.....

Can you tell which number is better?

And that is with over 15 million Americans carrying legal guns for self defense....

Almost...the point to my thread is that British criminals have had guns before and after they banned guns for normal British citizens...

But British criminals have had less access to guns before- and now they have more access. Largely do to the open borders that allow guns to be smuggled into Britain easier.

British criminals used guns less- not because laws were tougher in the U.S.(no death penalty there remember) but because they had less access to guns in the UK.

No.....before, they had more access to guns.....now they are supposed to have less...and the gun crime rate at first went up, then went back to where it was before 1996, and now it is going up.

Britain is a freaking island.....get real.

No....British criminals did not have a culture of random murder, and casual murder. That has changed as the British welfare state has been undermining the values and culture that kept their violence away from actual murder.

And if more access to guns means more murder......then you are wrong...since we went from 200 million guns in the 1990s....to 357-400 million guns.....you know...more access to guns....and our gun crime rate went down 75%...showing you are wrong....

Our gun murder rate, with more access to guns, went down 49%...showing you are wrong....

and our violent crime rate, with more access to guns, went down 72%, showing you are wrong.

You don't understand the issues involved, but thanks for trying.

What part of a 42% increase in gun crime in London shows that their gun violence is staying low.....they have been lucky all these years, but now their culture can no longer civilize poor young males, raised by single teenage mothers...

And yet...we are told that banning guns will lower the gun crime rate......

Britain banned guns in 1996.....telling the people of Britain that it would reduce gun crime, gun murder and violent crime.....

after the ban, the gun crime rate went up....then it returned to the same level it was at before they banned guns...and now, again, it is going up, not down......

They banned guns and their gun crime rate only changed by going up, not down.

The United States....went from 200 million guns to close to 400 million guns since 1996..........from 4.7 million people carrying guns to 15 million people carrying guns.....

--our gun crime rate went down 75%......

--our gun murder rate went down 49%...

--our violent crime rate went down 72%....

So banning guns for law abiding citizens.....increases gun crime in Britain....AMericans owning and carrying guns decreased gun crime here....

That is the truth, the fact and the reality.

Is that before or after the home invaders pour boiling water over their heads?

Actually, the violence problem is much worse than this.....I just found this.....so...tell us again how taking guns away from normal, law abiding people lowers the violent crime rate....

But analysis of the figures force by force, showed the full extent of the problem, with only one constabulary, Nottinghamshire, recording a reduction in violent offences.

The vast majority of police forces actually witnessed double digit rises in violent crime, with Northumbria posting a 95 per cent increase year on year.

Of the other forces, Durham Police recorded a 73 per cent rise; West Yorkshire was up 48 per cent; Avon and Somerset 45 per cent; Dorset 39 per cent and Warwickshire 37 per cent.

Elsewhere Humberside, South Yorkshire, Staffordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Wiltshire and Dyfed Powys all saw violence rise by more than a quarter year on year.

Violent crime on the rise in every corner of the country, figures suggest
