This thread is about Israel not Kosovo. If you bring Kosovo in here then you are essentially empowering those Jews that believe that Israel is perfect and rape is only done by non Jews. I am not a moderator but since I started this thread, I think I am obligated to try to keep it on track by not rendering flaccid the notion that Israel is not perfect and furthermore it does commit rape. As a matter of fact, large number of rape cases in Israel that I have come across so far have been committed by Israeli soldiers. That is serious.

Nobody in their right mind thinks that ANY place is "perfect". That comment alone renders this OP a baiting and inflammatory thread. When you take such a ludicrous position you render any good discussion possible because you have no intent to discuss anything. You merely wish to bludgeon people with your opinion. And, that is simply stupid.

First thing you need to do is to verify your sources for example in the case of Prof Mordechai Kedar (Arab and Middle Eastern studies) claiming he suggested raping the mother's and sisters of terrorists so here is the rest of the story while the media already succeeded with the spin:

Needless to say he wasn't charged after the police investigation in this matter, all eye witnessing students backed this statement.

It was also Prof Kedar explaining the power of the media in the Arab world and disinformation among the M.E. dictatorship, I highly recommend looking into it.

Next distinguish between suspects and convicted, for making such a generalized claims.

Having said that, I believe you might want to reconsider the claims you made, However sexual offenses are (sadly) common all over the world at very large rates (any rate is unaccepted) where we find ourselves thinking what have we done wrong, it saddens me to think of the horrifying situations.

Rabbi Ezra Sheinberg of Safed was indicted Monday for raping, sodomizing and/or sexually assaulting 12 women.

Gosh. No one denies the rape problem on India, but you try to deflect from the rape problems in Israel by saying others are as bad or worse.

Most countries have a problem, but Israel is about the only 'western' army in the world with such a crap record of rape amongst its soldiers. It's far worse than America, and bloody terrible when compared to European armies.

However, it's the only country that has supporters denying the problem.
That is a massive issue.

I find it very curios that even though India ranks very low on rape index, the media in the U.S. has created an image among its readership as if India ranks very high on rape index. Even Israel ranks higher than India on rape index.

The rape is a major problem in western countries like UK, Germany, etc. It is not a major problem in India.

India has more than one billion people yet it ranks lower than Israel on rape index.

Frankly speaking when I started this thread, I did not think Israel had such a massive rape problem simply because media does not cover it. CNN is busy rehashing the same old rape story from India again and again.

Question is why is Jewish media of the U.S. purposely lying to its readers about India?

Why should I start a thread about rapes in Israel. I am not Jewish, but I think this thread you started is rather stupid since there is rape all over the world, especially lots of rapes in India. One girl was mentally impaired and lied about her age and had a history of actively going out and seeking sex. Her father was aware of it before going to that base. The base should have been informed and forewarned and the girl should have been monitored to prevent her from engaging in sex again.

Sadly there are cases of impairment due to alcohol and drugs where neither party remembers seeking or giving consent.

It would be ideal if this was a black and white issue. Not all rape is forced or without consent.
