Vice President Rice?

Just think about the mind that comes up with a gem like that. It lives for playing the game and has little interest in getting shit done. Sad.

If by getting shit done, you mean shit like obama has done, you're damned straight. A Rice administration wouldn't get shit done.

Weak.

I'd expect that from you.. The fact remains that obama has gotten a lot of shit done and we'd be a lot better off if he didn't do shit.

What makes you think she'd be interested? :eusa_think: Here's criticism from her own (your) side: Condoleezza Rice - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

former Undersecretary of State and U.N. Ambassador John R. Bolton was referring to Rice and her allies in the Bush Administration whom he believes have abandoned earlier hard-line principles
Former Vice President Dick Cheney's new book, In My Time suggested that Rice had misled the president about nuclear diplomacy with North Korea, saying she was naïve. He called her advice on the issue “utterly misleading." He also chided Rice for clashing with White House advisors on the tone of the president's speeches on Iraq. And says the secretary of state "tearfully admitted" that the Bush administration should not have apologized for a claim the president made in his 2003 State of the Union address on the supposed search for uranium.

Bolton and cheney don't think highly of her :eusa_whistle:
Since when have you respected Cheney's opinion? No she's not perfect, but she's a poli sci PHD, a diplomat and can speak without a teleprompter.

Kind of hot, too.

I don't know her politics; she's a republican but really do you know where she stands on issues such as social security reform, abortion, foreign aid to Europe, NATO and our part in it? Does she want to get rid of the UN? How does she feel about the stimulus bills that were signed into law by POTUS 43 and 44?

Don't reject her out of hand. A lot of good men and women served their President even at odds of their own personal beliefs. She may be 100% in favor of Bush's failed policies (and some of the ones Mr. Obama tried that failed too) but maybe not.

Still, whomever she is paired with will look like a yo-yo on foreign policy (except Huntsman). Just from what I know about her...having her one heartbeat away from the Oval office isn't exactly the worst we could do.

Republican diners haven’t yet picked their entree, but they’ve narrowed it down to the steak or the fish. Still, just as interesting as their main course will be their side selection: Will they go for a drab salad, or something more exciting? Maybe a spicy Rice dish?

Yes, that Rice: Condi. She’s rested and ready - and buff.

Why not the big chair, Condi?

She's running with Obama in 2012? Maybe she'll run with Jeb Bush in 2016.

You mean Clinton, right? Does "just kiss it" ring any bells?

Hell....you right wingers launched legal action against Clinton trying to remove him from office and newly seated Bob Livingston had to resign as speaker of the house after Larry Flynt paid a million dollars to learn about multi affairs he had. Another principal Republican, Henry Hyde served his last term because Flynt also brought out a 20 year sexual dalliance he had. Then....Flynt let it be known he had a lot more if he needed to use it before the senate started the trial and guess what............Clinton stayed in office and his popularity during the last few months of his presidency broke all previous records. Ol' Bill said, on his way out, "Don't Throw Me In That Briar Patch!"

LMAO!!!!
So Hyde and Livingstone resigned over affairs, presumably conducted on their own time and Clinton gets a blowjob in the Oval Office and lies about it and stays in office and Republicans are somehow evil?
Talk about blind partisanship!

Present day Republicans are hypocrites. Democrats get pussy and brag about it. Republicans get pussy and lie about it.

When someone rambles on about abstinence, family values, life begins at erection, etc. they have to put on a front when the animal side gets involved. Democrats think abortion is OK, morning after birth control is good etc. so when the animal side of them comes out it's no big deal.
