Vice President Rice?

Republican diners haven’t yet picked their entree, but they’ve narrowed it down to the steak or the fish. Still, just as interesting as their main course will be their side selection: Will they go for a drab salad, or something more exciting? Maybe a spicy Rice dish?

Yes, that Rice: Condi. She’s rested and ready - and buff.

Why not the big chair, Condi?

Oh Hell...........George W. Bush would be her secretary of state. He could go back to the middle east and tell the leaders what he and god had talked about lately.

There'd be a whole bunch of Camel Jockies crapping their collective togas if Bush got back into a position of national power.

A Vulcan?!!!  You're funny :p
The Vulcans - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Vulcans is a nickname used to refer to Republican Presidential candidate George W. Bush's foreign policy advisory team assembled to brief him prior to the 2000 U.S. presidential election. The Vulcans were led by Condoleezza Rice and included Richard Armitage, Robert Blackwill, Stephen Hadley, Richard Perle, Dov S. Zakheim, Robert Zoellick and Paul Wolfowitz, and Wolfowitz protegé, Scooter Libby.

she's way to my left, but it would be an interesting poker hand.
I'll call your "racist" and raise you one "male chauvinist bastard".

:d

"The closest thing to eternal life on this planet is a government program." Ronald Reagan"

I wonder if he told George W. Bush about that. Bush expanded the government by 15% in two terms. I won't even mention that he doubled the national debt........well, I guess I did.

I voted Republican from 1956 to 1984 except when I voted for Anderson(I) in 1980 and didn't vote at all in 1976. The Republican party used to stand for small government, balanced budgets and individual rights. They begin to out Democrat the Democrats in 1981 and the rest is history.

Recently, the Democrats have out-Democrated the Democrats, republicans, Socialists, Communists, my maiden aunt and anyone else who ever tried to give anything away.

You just have to be impressed by more than a Trillion Dollars of debt every year.

This is really a pretty impressive failure. They have managed to avoid making any kind of a plan and then failed to achieve even a falling short of it.

And yet more outstanding reasons to keep republicans out of the WH.

For those who have apparently forgotten ... Rice lied for Bush. She's actually much more intelligent than most of the other pub/bag faves but she has the same amount of honesty and integrity as her x-boss and is the last thing we need.

So you don't like her. That's good enough for me.

Condi 2012

Condi is way too moderate for the GOP base.

She's way to my left, but it would be an interesting poker hand.
I'll call your "racist" and raise you one "male chauvinist bastard".

Just think about the mind that comes up with a gem like that. It lives for playing the game and has little interest in getting shit done. Sad.

If by getting shit done, you mean shit like obama has done, you're damned straight. A Rice administration wouldn't get shit done.

Weak.

If Rice were a white man would we be having this conversation? I don't think so. She is very bright but basically an academic. She is not a politician.
Yes, she does have that going for her.

Cain wasn't a politician either. We see how that worked out.

And obama is the consummate politician. Worked out just fine?.
Condi has been around for a long time. She knows how the system works, at least as well as Perry (another politician who worked out less than hoped)

What makes you think she'd be interested? :eusa_think: Here's criticism from her own (your) side: Condoleezza Rice - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

former Undersecretary of State and U.N. Ambassador John R. Bolton was referring to Rice and her allies in the Bush Administration whom he believes have abandoned earlier hard-line principles
Former Vice President Dick Cheney's new book, In My Time suggested that Rice had misled the president about nuclear diplomacy with North Korea, saying she was naïve. He called her advice on the issue “utterly misleading." He also chided Rice for clashing with White House advisors on the tone of the president's speeches on Iraq. And says the secretary of state "tearfully admitted" that the Bush administration should not have apologized for a claim the president made in his 2003 State of the Union address on the supposed search for uranium.

Bolton and cheney don't think highly of her :eusa_whistle:
