Somewhere in an earlier thread, Musicman & I both announced that Van Halen was no longer a Peavey endorser & was going to Fender. This according to a Peavey rep.
Well, Peavey is continuing to produce the Wolfgang.
Now, Charvel use to be a good guitar. Apparently, Fender bought them out & the line of guitars declined. Charvel, himself, is now producing guitars again & Van Halen has a signature guitar. It is a replica of one of his guitars (the one with the tape) & is being sold-- retail: $3,600.00.
