VA: Bob McDonnell: Jobs Governor?

Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?
and where are you complaining about what the dems do?
hypocrite

Slow down there big guy. I don't like a lot of what the Dems are doing. HOWEVER, since the only thing the GOP could accomplish in 8 years (my opinion) was to start a war and occupation, I believe a change was necessary. And having never voted for a Democrat prior to Obama, I am willing to give his new ideas a chance to take effect and work, before I attack him. My point in this thread is that the GOP supporters and Obama dissenters have attacked Obama's ideas (many of them, anyway) as Socialist ideas. Since McDonnell's plans for using public funds to help out private business in Virginia, seem somewhat similar to Obama's "Socialist labeled" plans, I am trying to better understand what determines one's ideas a Socialism, while another's very similar ideas are not?

Yea Virginia,Jersey, and all other states controlled by Socialist Democrats have sadly become real disasters. Hey you guys in places like Virginia and New Jersey just go ahead and keep electing inept Socialist Democrats though because it's clearly working out great for ya. The Socialist Democrats destroyed those and many other once great states a long time ago. No one can save them now. They are and will be Third World H*ll-Holes for the foreseeable future. Just take a closer look around this entire country and you will quickly see that every state controlled by Socialist Democrats has become a Third World Nightmare. At this point you would have to be completely deranged to vote for more Socialist Democrats. Hey,people have the right to be stupid and vote for more misery though. Good luck Virginia,Jersey, and all others because you're definitely gonna need lots of it.

The only think I'd care about coming out of VA is when they make radar detectors legal...

Other than that, couldn't give a rats ass...

The only THINK you'd care about? Good show, House. Good show.

thing...

sorry, typing queen....

How long have you been an asshole? Were you born one or did you work into it?

Calling me names does not get you out of being an asshole. You have been an asshole since I arrived at these boards and the ONE thing I have noticed about you, is that you post NOTHING of any consequence. Do you come to these boards to get your rocks off by calling other posters names? I ask this question because that is ALL I have ever seen you do, asshole!

This is an observation on my part, not an accusation: The majority of your postings seem to belie the above statement. You appear to regularly come across as a born-again progressive.

That means so much coming from the queen of "cut & paste" (with the obligatory broad brush statement thrown in)... Start another one...lol

You da man, PudYank5150!

Ringel...I can certainly see your point, and it is a fair one at times, as my patience with memebers of my former party (i.e., I had never voted for a Deomocrat before Obama) has run out. What I ATTEMPT to do, (and often fail miserably at) is point out the hypocrisies of the right. The right had control of this country for the past 8 years and instead of doing what we (yes, myself included) elected them to do, they spent our money like liberals. So, I took a chance on Obama. I wanted the GOP out of power to show them the error of their ways. Now, what is left of the "base" I cannot even recognize. The "base" worhsips the ground Sarah Palin walks on, even thogh she has proven time and again she cannot lead. I do not recognize my former party and therefore come across as brash.

I'm glad you didn't take that wrong and I can most sincerly sympathize. In the 80s I became fed up and disallusioned by the extreme leftist direction the Dems were headed. I felt lied to and cheated so I did a 180 for a few years untill I realized the GOP was no different in terms of their more and more polerized stance against a more and more polerized DNC. So now I try (obviously not always successfully) to take a reasoned view of issues and motivating factors associated with those issues.
As far as Palin is considered, to the base Sarah represents the conservative platform/ideals (anyone here can and will interpret that as they wish based on their own political/phylosophic paradigm - possitive or negative). I do assert it's rather difficult to lead when one is constantly distracted by accusations/investigations contiuously being hurled. Be honest, this is true for anyone in a leadership position.

Ringel, I have never considered myself a Republican or a Democrat, as my own belief system does not allow me to be pigeon holed into either party's beliefs. Hell, I even voted for Perot twice because I thought this country needed to be run more like a business. But, I digress....
I will always, always belive that Palin was chosen for the sole reason that she is female and the GOP was hoping to capture dissatisfied Clinton supporters. Palin lied to the American people (Bridge to Nowhere) in the very first speech she ever gave and I never got past that. All of her other flubs only reinforced my belief that she got the job because of her gender. Based on all of this, PLUS her quitting on the people of Alaska, how anyone can take her seriously is truly beyond me. She cried about media scrutiny of her children, yet continued to trapse them across the country on her campaign, bringing all of them, including her newborn special needs child to event after event. What was her prupose in doing this? Why did she bitch about the media in one breath, then go looking for their attention in the next? What is it about this lady that so many in the "base" see? In mu humble opinion, she is so transparent, you can see right through her....

Great comeback, House. Exactly what I have come to expect from you. Good show.

Cut and paste us something from a leftie blog, Yanker...

Then, underneath it, just type some broad-brush, generalized smear against the right.. You know, like you normally do...

C'mon - I know you're dying to... There's got to be some faux outrage against the right out there just waiting for you to cut and paste it here... Kos? Huffypuffy?

It's what we expect from you....

And even if I did, which I won't since you asked for it, it would still be leaps and bounds above your personal attacks and jerk off babble.

You are correct, she was selected because she was a she and because she was the farther right counterpoint to McCain's preceived centrism.
The Bridge to nowhere thing, well IMHO each person will see that according to perspective.
ALL politicians drag their children along on campaign, even Obama, some do it more than others and up until Palin, politician's children were considered off limits in the fray.
Any and every politician that has had so much negative media coverage complains while constantly seeking out media attention, It's called (for good or worse) name recognition. what makes Palin any different?

Pardon me for not believing your bullshit...

You spend thread after thread attacking the right, yet not one word from you about the complete bullshit being foisted upon us by the far leftists... The libs have controlled the pursestrings since 2006... Got a problem with any of that? Judging by your thread topics, I'd say you're perfectly fine to see this country slide further and further to the left...

Everything you just wrote about Palin is pure leftist talking points about her you would see at any flaming liberal blog... Admit and embrace your liberalism, Yanker...

Nope, not buying your bullshit... 0bama is and always has been your choice for direction... He can do no wrong in the eye of you flaming liberals...
