Va AG Rules that Cops Can Verify Immigration Status on Traffic Stops

Good. Hopefully more states will pile onto this so when the feds try and stop them all we have a revolution on our hands. I for one am hoping for it.

This ruling expands the Prince William County, Virginia law to state-wide enforcement. Prince William County has been checking the immigration status of people that are arrested for 3 years now.

Contrary to all of the lefty supposition, there has not been one single substantiated case of racial profiling because of the law.

On the other side, most of the illegals that had been overrunning the county have fled.

Same has been happening in Costa Mesa, CA - and yet not a peep from Obama's henchmen. What we need is for it to be happening nationwide.

I think the more states and communities are successful in their efforts to get programs like this going, the more likely other states are to follow suit. I heard Attorney General Cuccinelli talking about even further efforts Virginia is engaged in. Six weeks ago they partnered with ICE to run every person arrested in Virginia through the ICE database to determine immigration status. If the person is not a citizen and are or have been guilty of what ICE calls a tier 1, 2, or 3 offense, they will be deported. Those offenses are for violent crimes and serious property crimes.

Virginia is one of two states doing this now, Delaware being the other. Hopefully, more states will follow their lead.

Of course not, CA is a blue state and Arizona is a red state. If a blue state does it there is no problem, but if a red state does it, it's racist. Didn't you know that?

The Federal Immigration and Nationality Act has always allowed states and local officials to ask immigration status if there is reasonable suspicion during a traffic stop, auto accident and just a group walking down the street looking illegal. I have seen it happen here in Reno, A goup looking like the just crossed the border. Dress gave them away. LMAO
