    Jim Matheson comes from a longtime political family in Utah. I'm not surprised he won.

    The thing I'll say, having lived in Utah for 10 years...Utah is probably the most republican state in the U.S. For democrats to win in that 4th district, they have to be able to navigate working with leaders of both parties. Jim Matheson is a solid guy.

    yes. Looking at that electoral map it looked as red as Oklahoma or SC. I knew it was 'reddish' but not THAT red. :shock: Thanks for the info.
