I voted neither approve nor disapprove. It's not that I have no opinions, I could write a novel about what I like and don't like about what he's doing. But y'all wouldn't want to read it and the likes and dislikes come out about even in the end.

It probably should be "possible two terms." Its worth noting that incumbent Presidents are pretty difficult to beat. Even Clinton and Bush won re-election, and both faced pretty hostile political environments.

Obama could lose in 2012, but the candidate and the environment necessary to knock out an incumbent isn't there yet.

You already stated why - it's too early to be calling the next election for Barry... Lots of shit will happen between now and then... For example, it won't take much longer for the anti-war leftists to start noticing the body bags in Afghanistan...

How do you feel about the presidents job performance and optionally, why?

I don't like his pushing for this health plan i dont think will give us better care.

I do like how he has dealt with terrorist leaders (assanations)

I don't like his speeches to foreign nations

I do like the speech he gave to the schoolchildren

I dont like that he was snide towards the tea parties

I dont like that he promised us if we pass the stimulus unemployment would not reach 8%.

I somewhat dissaprove.

I strongly disapprove of his Presidency thus far.

1. He refuses to accept responsibility for the office he took on January 21st 2009. Instead he's a fucking crybaby blame the other guy kook.

2. He CLEARLY stated a strategy for Afghanistan on March 27th 2009. He now says we "lost focus" and admits he actually has NO STRATEGY. Why is he leaving our troops out in the cold?

3. He is attempting to turn the United States into a quasi-socialist country in the mold of The European Union.

I told everyone last year this guy was the consumate con man.....looks like that guess turned out to be correct.

He's doing all the wrong things in regards to the economy, we're still in Iraq, we're sending more people to die in Afghanistan, bombing Pakistan, using aggressive rhetoric against Iran, Gitmo is still open, and he's trying to push through universal healthcare and cap and trade.

he was dealt a bad hand. Anyone elected in 2008 was going to have to deal with a lot of crap paid forward by the last guy in office, just as bush inherited his share of messes from clinton, and clinton from g.h.w. Bush, etc.

He's doing alright given what he had to face up to at the very start of the term. We'll see where he goes from here.

Btw, why the need for the snap judgement? We're less than 1/4 of the way into his first of two terms? Surely you can hold out a bit to judge him a success or failure and let some time pass. Isn't that what bush supporters have asked for when we consider his legacy?

i wouldn't be to sure of that "first of two terms". Given the skeletons tumbling out of the closet on so many of his advisors, i'll be surprised if someone doesn't find something career ending on obama before his first term ends.
