USMB Dead, Unite Here!

I'll share a story. Well a couple of stories...

First serious listen was in the 70's when stoned out of my gourd on some opiated hash. The album with the song "Truckin'". That's all I have to say about that...

A few years later I went to see them in Nashville. Huge venue but maybe 1/3 full. Lights went down and some people walked out on stage and just started jamming. I wasn't that familiar with the music and wondered if it was the warm-up act. Made my way down to the floor when I realized it was the band. I was in tears. Never heard such clean clear perfect music in my life.

The end.

i'm not a deadhead. i'm a bruce tramp. but my husband is a dead head.

i like Box of Rain, Sugaree and Friend of the Devil, though.

............ most of the time?

Many Dead favorites. "Box of Rain" makes me think of my late son. My dad even liked "Uncle John's Band"
When We got married 4 years ago, the wife and I dedicated this to her late mother.

There may come a day when I'll dance on your grave
Unable to dance I'll crawl across it.
