USMB Conservatives, Righties, Republicans: A Poll For You

Multiple questions so there is no "poll on the way."

A simple "yes" "no" or "not sure/maybe" for each will suffice.

1. Should President Obama be impeached?

Not yet.

2. Was President Obama born in the US?

Don't know, don't care.

3. Does President Obama want the terrorists to defeat us?

No, but we all know which road is paved with good intentions.

4. Did ACORN steal the 2008 Presidential Election?

No, but they DID skew the results with their cheating.

5. Is President Obama a racist?

Yes. Most leftists are.

6. Should your state secede from the Union?

Why should we leave the rest of the country to the fools?

7. Should The Bible be taught in schools?

As literature and sociology, certainly.

8. Should contraception be outlawed?

No, and refusing to sell it shouldn't be outlawed, either.

I'll be fascinated to find out where you got the idea for these stupid questions from.

It's a very close adaptation of questions posed to about 2003 self-identified Republicans across the country in a poll commissioned by the idiots at Daily Kos.

Ah.

1. Should President Obama be impeached? No.
He should be forced to resign in disgrace.

2. Was President Obama born in the US? Yes. If Kenya is part of the U.S.

3. Does President Obama want the terrorists to defeat us? No. He'd rather have Iran and North Korea do it for them.

4. Did ACORN steal the 2008 Presidential Election? No. The SEIU did.

5. Is President Obama a racist? No. He patronizes everyone equally.

6. Should your state secede from the Union? No. We should kick out the nutjobs like CA, OR, and NY.

7. Should The Bible be taught in schools? No. Government funded schools should cease to exist.

8. Should contraception be outlawed? No, if it results in preventing the birth of just one moron like the OP.

The Bible should never be taught in public schools unless it's taught along side literature such as the story of Jupitor, Hera, Hercules and other "myths".

Many Americans don't want their children "contaminated" by religious indoctrination.

I do believe in spooks.

1. Should President Obama be impeached?

No.

2. Was President Obama born in the US?

I don't know, I wasn't present at his birth. I am, however, willing to take his word for it.

3. Does President Obama want the terrorists to defeat us?

Doubtful. He keeps killing all those innocent civilians to get to them.

4. Did ACORN steal the 2008 Presidential Election?

No. The Republicans gave it away.

5. Is President Obama a racist?

I don't know him, so impossible to say. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, however.

6. Should your state secede from the Union?

No, but I'd support them if they wanted to.

7. Should The Bible be taught in schools?

Schools should teach whatever the parents want them to teach. Let the market decide, not the state.

8. Should contraception be outlawed?

Not in my opinion.

The U.S. National Academy of Sciences has stated that "creationism, intelligent design, and other claims of supernatural intervention in the origin of life or of species are not science because they are not testable by the methods of science.

so intelligent design and AGW share a common root.

who knew?

1. No--he;s done nothing to be impeached--he's simply a lousy President.
2. I assume he was born in the U.S.
3. No--Obama is simply "ignorant" as how to handle terrosits. He still feels that one of his speeches will persuade them to like the rest of us.
4. No
5. Yes
6. Maybe
7. No
8. Of course not

You can teach one without the other. You don't have to teach scripture. Show intelligent design as a theory in contrast to that of Darwin. Besides, what does it matter? In a couple hundred years, evolution will probably be laughed at just as we laugh at the notion that science once explained a woman's reproductive organs as inverted male organs. The idea isn't to teach religion, it is to show all theories in order to encourage critical thought. ;)

Have you got something WRONG with the religious culture of this country which comes from our forefathers? Hello--we are a Christian-Judeo culture. Get over it. If you've got a problem with that--feaking go to another country. This is not a "religious board"--it's political.

Please tell me that you are being facetious.

1. Should President Obama be impeached? Only if it is irrefutable that he has committed high crimes and misdemeanors. As bad as he has been, I don't know of anything that he has done that would rise to that level, so at this time, no.

2. Was President Obama born in the US? I think he probably was, but there must be something really REALLY embarrasing on his birth certificate and also in all the other documents that he has refused to produce. It is hard not to believe that there is some serious dishonesty involved there.

3. Does President Obama want the terrorists to defeat us? No. But I think he does intend to take away much of our world power status and give it to some fuzzy, generalized central world government authority.

4. Did ACORN steal the 2008 Presidential Election? I think it probably did not. I do think it is a thoroughly corrupt and dishonest organization that became an important cog in the Obama machine. Since there are so many and far reaching tentacles, it may still be.

5. Is President Obama a racist? Yes, but not in a malicious way.

6. Should your state secede from the Union? No, nor should anybody else's. We should get behind the true reformers, however, and take back our government from the privileged elite.

7. Should The Bible be taught in schools? In Parochial or private school, absolutely if that's what they want to do. In the public schools, it should only be taught as curriculum as part of a comprehensive and objective comparative religion class. Kids should not be disallowed to have Bible study or any other religious study on their own and on their own time in school, however.

8. Should contraception be outlawed? No. And its use should be strongly encouraged by all who are not ready to competently raise a family.

1) No, I don't like him at all, (See siggy line) but impeachment is for criminal acts, like subornation of perjury and the like.
2) Yes. Despite what his idiot relations say.
3) No. He would take it personally. the way the original question was posed, I am not sure. But this way NO is a safe answer.
4) McCain? Gimmie a break. NO.
5)No. A bigot is not the same thing.
6) No.
7) No. There is no reason to make kids read Porn in school.
8) No. Liberals should all the contraceptives they want for free.

But you're still teaching that there is some mysterious hand that created everything. That places creationism (whether one teaches the scripture of Genesis or not) on the same level as sciene.

Many scientific theories get laughed at when we learn more. They do not get laughed at because we pull things out of the air and call them science, IMO. A scientific "theory" has been tested, re-tested and replicated in accordance with the scientific method. That doesn't mean the answers science gives all the right answers all the time. It just means it's based on the best information we have available at a given period in time. It is not "theory" in the sense of someone having a thought and saying "oh...i theorize that..."
