I'm pretty sure fake news but too funny not to share :)

"My flight was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone in a good mood as he served us food and drinks.
As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and told us that ‘Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he’ll be landing the big scary plane shortly, so lovely people, if you could just put your trays up, that would be super.’
On his trip back up the aisle, he noticed this well-dressed woman hadn’t moved a muscle. ‘Perhaps you didn’t hear me over those big brute engines, but I asked you to raise your trazy-poo, so the main man can pitty-pat us on the ground.’
She calmly turned her head and said, ‘In my country, I am called a Princess, and I take orders from no one.’
To which (I swear) the flight attendant replied, without missing a beat, ‘Well, sweet-cheeks, in my country I’m called a Queen, so I outrank you. Tray-up, B****!’

(This reminds me of a tech at Eye Associates here who is just that openly and warmly gay and has a lot of fun with it that raises everybody's spirits. Also extremely competent. I always hope I get him when I go for my treatments.)

Ken is having up and down days. Yesterday, wasn't his best day, and today his son was by his side, so when I got done driving all day and came back. He looked better. It's concerning for him to stay focused on medicine and getting better. I was tired from. My 100 mile round trip to Bryan. It was one of the most beautiful days I ever saw. It was pleasantly cool, but not too cool and warm but not too warm. Perfect day traveling through Walker and Cline counties.

It's good to be home and the puppies are behaving like good sports. The evening sun is brightly shining at the tree tops. We have a lot of tall pines and a spreading oak out front in the south pasture. It's a pretty sight with all shades of spring green . It's huge with a 45 foot diameter and probably about 18 feet high. It's one of the prettiest live oak trees anywhere in Walker County. For botanists it would be a tree they'd never forget to recall.

I've added Hombre and my niece Karen to the vigil list. She is one of those people who much prefers to be ziplining or hiking, exploring, hugging snakes, enjoying all that nature has to offer than sitting in front of a computer or television. But yesterday, despite her healthy lifestyle, she had a triple bypass and is struggling today. A few positive vibes or prayers from the Coffee Shoppers couldn't hurt.

We pray or send positive thoughts or keep vigil for:

Harper, the inspiration for the vigil list. Another surgery coming up.
Ringel for continued wellness and his brothers' families for relief from adversity and illness.
Hombre & Foxfyre's son Mike for continued wellness
Beautress's friend Ken for healing and wellness and a successful surgery.
SFC Ollie for healing and wellness
Gracie for solutions and peace.
Mrs. Saveliberty for rapid and trouble free healing
Oddball's mom for a good diagnosis and resolution.
Boedicca's brother Douglas for successful treatment and wellness.
Foxfyre for successful healing after dental surgery and her and Hombre's niece following open heart surgery.

And we keep the light on so those who have moved on to other places can find their way back. And we hope they do.
