USA vs USSR vs Russia (цифры)

I disagree much with your post, Selivan

Will try to explain basing on my own experience.

The average income of a citizen of Russia per month is 28,000 rubles ...
It’s difficult to judge which is thecreal average income but in my company the lowest salary is 50,000 rubles (almost $900) - it is paid to a girl selling goods in my shop. While average salary in my company is 65-70,000 rubles.
Pay attention it is not Moscow with the highest level of citizens’ income but Vladivostok. And my employees are not qualified specialists, I prefer to hire not experienced young people and to learn them myself.

1. Medicine
Medicine in Russia is of 2 types:
- Mandatory: (free) The government pays for insurance and allows all citizens to receive medical services .. This "service" is terrible ... Most doctors are Asians or Caucasians. The quality is disgusting ...
Absolute bullshit!
Every citizen of Russia has Mandatory medical insurance paid by government. It allows anyone to get free medical service in any hospital he wants. The quality of service is fine and equipment is modern. Doctors are the same as those working in Comercial clinics (paid one).
The only problem is time of waiting. If case is not urgent it may take too long.
I prefer paid clinics but I have my own experience in state hospital. Once accident happened to me when driving buggies. It was far from Vladivostok and ambulance was called (it is free by the way!). It arrived within about 10-15 minutes and delivered me to the nearest state hospital. As it was head injury I was made MRT and all necessary curing was done. I was surprised with the modern interior and equipment snd the speed of working in the hospital of small town.
And it was free!

- Voluntary (paid) ... The best polyclinics, hospitals and doctors. But it costs 100,000 rubles a year, so for ordinary Russian it is not available. Large Enterprises pay such insurance for their employees, but I do not take it into account
Nonsense!
If the situation was like you described how would they survive? Where would they get clients?
Yes, everything is to be paid there but they are all full of clients. No need to have full coverage insurance to get there. One may come yo those clinics for visit of one or several certain doctors and price is quite suitable for almost everyone.

Many drugs are a "fake" that does not help sick people!
This disgrace has never happened in the USSR!
This problem does exists but I wouldn’t say “many”.
Sometimes police finds fake drugs and each time those cases are widely shown in mass media. This problem exists all over the world and in Russia it is being fought by government.

In Russia - food is a complete shit to buy quality food, you will not have enough of this money. To buy quality natural clothes - the same
In America - all the same, even worse than in Russia
The best natural food and natural clothes was in the USSR!
I don’t understand why do you write here such a lie. Food in Russia is pretty good in quality and it costs much cheaper than in the USA and EU. It may be proven by any foreigner who visited Russia.
The only shit-food may be met in large food retail outlets they like to have a lot of disgusting plastic food made in EU and USA, products by global food concerns like Nestle, Mars and alike who do not produce food but harmful garbage. And those retailers like to sell the cheapest vegetables from China, Turkey which are the lowest quality.
But there is huge number of smaller shops where one may buy something useful and tasty by Russian producers and cheaper btw.

Housing
- Buying any dwelling, apartment, house ... in Russia is not available!
In the USSR it was free, in America it is possible to buy through the "moatage loan" for 30 years ... Therefore, Russian youth lives in the apartments of parents who gave them to the Soviet Union ...
Mortgage loans today is affordable.
3 of my 12 employee bought dwellings. All of them are young.
They pay about 15-20,000 rubles a months and live in their own apartments.

Equipment, Furniture
In Russia, this shit in bulk ... Basically - the production of China or Turkey
In the USSR, on the contrary, there was a very large deficit
"Average Russian moron" spends on it no more than 2,000
Goods of any origin and quality may be bought. A lot of well known producers have their production in Russia which allows them to make their goods even cheaper than in EU with the same quality.
If someone prefers top quality goods - he has choice, if someone prefers cheap Chinese he has choice as well.

The car ...
- The cheapest NEW car costs 300,000 rubles in Russia, so Russians try to buy "used cars" or learn to repair an old car that he received from his parents in the USSR.
Buying a car for the Russian in modern Russia - is not available!
Jesus, why the hell this bs is here?
Simply check the statistics. Russia is one of the most growing markets in car sales.
Yes, used cars are widely sold and bought as well as all over the world.
But if someone wants to buy a new car he can easily do it. Banks provide loans, car dealers arrange special agreements to banks for lower rates of such loans for their clients.

Well I don’t know which was the purpose of your post but realization is very poor.
The idea of comparing is very good but when comparing you’d better keep your emotions deep inside.
Comparing is good when it is fair and objective.
I do understand your love of the USSR but still modern Russia is much better than you have shown here.

And there you have it straight from someone who actually lives in Russia. You cannot believe a line of bullshit from Selivan's mouth. One day he says this the next day he says that. His stuff goes from the very best in the world one day to the worst. He is an avowed communist from a long-dead country stuck in the past steeped in Soviet State Propaganda used to living on the State Coffers now faced with a struggling democracy not quite ready for prime time because it has little economic potential because Putin refuses to bring Russia out of its closed self-bubble into the greater open world theater of free trade because that would mean his giving up too much wealth and power for himself.

It was a great information, Eugene, very interesting and very honest. Thank you.

You’re wrong about Putin.
Since the moment he and his team came to a power Russia has grown greatly economically. You may check statistics - GDP, population, average income, length of living, number of infrastructure and production objects launched, etc.
While pro-american democrats ruled the country Russia was a center of criminal, nothing was built and people didn’t lived but survived.

And when I see how Europe, Japan began to live last 8-5 years I do realize that we’d better stay apart ftom them.
Believe me, Putin is not afraid of free trade. He would easily find good place for himself. But I greatly doubt that Russia needs that free trade where the USA dictates.
Do you call it free? For country which prints money it is really free but for those who must earn them - it is not.
Russia and China have already began refusing from usd in trade relations and it is great!

West has sunk in corruption and lie. I don’t want to become a part of it.
