"A foundation in Germany has analyzed the social justice records of all 31 members of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), ranking each nation in such categories as health care, income inequality, pre-school education, and child poverty.

"The overall performance by the United States — which boasts of being an egalitarian society — outranks only Greece, Chile, Mexico, and Turkey.

"Actually, three of those countries performed better than ours in the education of pre-schoolers, and Greece did better than the United States on the prevention of poverty."

Another example of the economic and political inequality built into this system that won't change by "choosing" between Mitt and Mutt next November.

It's a call to stop "choosing" between candidates pre-selected by the 1%, of the 1%, and for the 1%.

So far I am leaning write in. The only hope the GOP has of drawing my vote is if Boehner and company get tough on the deficit and debt.

We know the GOP doesnt have the stones so there you go.

Good. I'd like to see us lower but it's a start.

Lower?

40% of all births in the US have only one parent in the house.

How much further into the abyss must we sink?

I didn't say I'd like to see more one parent households. 'Social Justice' is just a re-branding of 'socialism'. It has been re-branded to make it more palatable to those of us who value freedom.

'Social Justice' can kiss my ass.

I dont disagree per say.

I just took the conversation to the heart of social engineering. A point that shows there can never be justice.

Easier said than done.

The game is that the parties parce out SOCIAL ISSUES such that, despite the fact that the majority of what the parties want and do is the SAME, the voters will choose one or the other based on those SOCIAL ISSUES.

For example, I'll end up voting for Obama because on the margins his social welfare policies are less toxic than any of the GOP's.

The GOP will attract a certain kind of voter for exactly the opposite reason.

Meanwhile, as it regards the issues that matter to the overall welfare of the nation?

Well those will be much the same regardless of who wins the day.

See how, for example, Bush II's WELFARE for the BANSTERS and Obama's are basically the same policy?

That's like saying the USA ranks 27th in idiocy. "Social Justice" is a scam. It's a euphemism meaning "injustice." Justice is justice. When you put qualifiers in front of the word, you change it's meaning to be something other than justice. That means "injustice," in other words.

I think this idiocy speaks for itself.

I love that the RWers think that this is something to be proud of...

When does the left puff their chest out for the 40% single parent rate? Add the marriage penalty the left is so eager to bring back.

Hmmm.................................

Social justice, I know as democrats lets make a law that puts all retirement money into the general fund. We will still call it SS.

Seems the left is the heart of the problem

Move to Mexico.
Take Mitt and Mutt with you.
Good riddance.

I live in the UK, you fucking moron. I don't need to 'move' anywhere. I live in a country that values 'social justice'... and you know what? They're in the fucking tank.

Stop fucking whining.

And we, apparently, don't value social justice in the US and are still in the tank. Guess "social justice" doesn't have much to do with "the tank" either way then does it? (Although Germany might disagree. They were able to survive their "tank" thanks in part to their social safety nets).

so you cry out for less justice?
