Here we came to. USA ceased weapons export to Azerbaijan. I live right near Karabakh region. We had to run away from there because of war. We've never experienced anything hellish like this before or after that conflict started. Armenians drove us from the land of our ancestors. They ruined our houses and killed a lot of our relatives and friends. And sometimes we can hear Armenian cannonry here. That's really scaring.
Of course we hoped that international watchers would help us to restore justice. And Azeris always considered USA their protectors and encouragers. In their turn our authorities were trying hard to support NATO and USA in all their military operations in Kosovo and Afghanistan and future war against Iran either. And what have we got for our pains? Those Armenians prowled even into Congress. They've already accused Azeris of killing some Armenian soldiers during Clinton's visit to Armenia. They don't mention the number of Azeri militaries dying from Armenian bullets every day in Karabakh. And there will no US military aid we all were so looking forward to. And now we've understood that it was silly to rely on American promises. It is much easier to start negotiations with Armenians. But Americans just suck their allies dry and make scapegoats of them. For they never pick up the tab themselves.

Sounds like the Azeris should arm themselves for their own defense. Relying on another nation for aid is always tricky.
