The United States will continue to act against Palestinian attempts to gain recognition through the United Nations, and if necessary will use its veto to that end, US ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro said Monday.

Speaking at the Netanya Academic College, Shapiro said that there are no shortcuts to peace in the Middle East, and the Palestinians must return to direct negotiations with Israel without preconditions, on the basis of what was outlined by US President Barack Obama.

Does anyone here still claim that there isn't a powerful Jewish lobby rooted deeply in the US government?

Means nothing without context....

Here's the context:

"ABC’s Jake Tapper has a stunning report out of Seoul, South Korea this morning. According to him, President Obama was caught on a hot mic telling outgoing Russian President Dmitri Medvedev that if given “space,” he’ll have more flexibility “after my election.”

What do you suppose 'flexibility' means vis-a-vis Israel?

Indeed, he US is Zionist occupied territory. There is no excuse for keeping the Palestinians in stateless limbo.

Did someone say that Jews were running the US government's policy in the Middle East? I might have to agree :D

Does anyone here still claim that there isn't a powerful Jewish lobby rooted deeply in the US government?

It's part of US foreign policy. The same position exists towards S Korea and Japan. The US will not capitulate to tyrants, dictators, and brutal terroristic regimes nor will it turn it's back on its allies.

Which tyrant is Japan threatened by? (except Uncle Sam of course :D)

S.Korea is threatened? The North's army will run out of gas 5 minutes into their offensive. And as soon as the army crosses into S.Korea, they'll all surrender and ask for some fucking food!

No matter how hard the current president is trying, it seems.

Could you send that note to the Poles?

"Report: Russia deploys S-400 missiles in region bordering Poland, Lithuania
MOSCOW — A Russian newspaper has reported that the military has begun deploying S-400 mobile surface-to-air missiles in Kaliningrad, the Baltic exclave bordered by Poland and Lithuania.

Izvestia cited unnamed military officials as saying the missiles arrived Friday, but did not say how many. The Defense Ministry declined comment on the report.

S-400s, Russia’s most advanced surface-to-air missiles, have a range of 120-400 kilometers (75-250 miles)."

Think, by 'flexibility' Obama means Russian troops marching into Warsaw?

We have troops in Germany (not sure what for), so let's use them and attack the Russian missiles. Of course, after we convince everyone that they're absolutely about to toss some missiles at us.
Just grabbing a page from the Israeli hand book.

Japan is a vital ally and critical to the US. The US made a commitment to Japan after WWII, to rebuilt it and protect it, provided it does not create an offensive military. Japan and South Korea are threatened by N. Koreaon a regular basis today, and in some cases China. In the past the USSR was also a serious threat to both these countries. That is why the US still maintains a healthy troop presence in S Korea along the demilitarized zone, as well as in Japan. There are also other places / allies of US National Security interest around the world that the US has declared it is ready to go to war over if threatened: Israel, the Straits of Hormuz (main oil artery), Panam Canal, any of our closer European NATO allies such as UK, Germany, France, Italy, etc.

Arabs / Muslims on the other hand allied themselves with the Nazis during WWII, and then became client states of the Soviets (some still are). This prompted the US the start supporting Israel miltarily in the 60's as a counterbalance to Russian military influence in the region. Until then the US did not provide any military assistance or hardware to Israel. By then Israel had already won four of it's major wars against Arabs.

N.Korea is threatening with what exactly, their missile barely got off the ground, and if they invade S.Korea, we could pound them from the air and the sea, so we wouldn't need to get some good American men and women killed.

Fakestinians are from egypt and saudi arabia and elsewhere in the shitty arab world before they invaded Jewish Israel so they have 25 states.

Palesteenian Hamas Minister of the Interior Fathi Hammad, Al-Hekma TV [Egypt]: "Half of the Palestiniains are Egyptians and the other half are Saudis"
Brothers, there are 1.8 million of us in Gaza. Allah be praised, we all have Arab roots and every Palestinian in Gaza and throughout Palestine can prove his Arab roots--whether from Saudi Arabia, from Yemen, or anywhere.

Personally, half my family is Egyptian. We are all like that.

More than 30 families in the Gaza Strip are called Al-Masri [Egyptian]

Brothers, half of the Palestiniains are Egyptians and the other half are Saudis

Who are the Palestinians? we have many families called Al-Masri, whose roots are Egyptian. Egyptian! They may be from Alexandria, from Cairo, from Dumietta, from the North, from aswan, from Upper Egypt. We are Egyptians. we are Arabs. We are Muslims
Hamas Minister of the Interior and of National Security Fathi Hammad Slams Egypt over Fuel Shortage in Gaza Strip, and Says: "Half of the Palestinians Are Egyptians and the Other Half Are Saudis"

Winston Churchill, Secretary of "Palestine" During British Mandate to House of Commons, Parliamentary Debates, 23 May 1939
So far from being persecuted, the Arabs have crowded into the country and multiplied till their population has increased more than even all world Jewry could lift up the Jewish population.

North Korea threatens the South on a regular basis. Are you misinformed or just ignorant. Have you talked to a S. Korean to see what they think when the N. Korean's threatened to level Seoul with hundreds of thousands of missiles the North Koreans have pointing at the South.

Since the jews invaded Palestine to create Israel, you're no one to talk, hypocrite.

Palestine is Israel, birdbrain. The Romans invented the word palestine to call Israel during the Roman Empire. Last I checked, the Roman Empire ended 1500 years ago.

Now, even you know :clap2:

Biblical Historian and Scholar Dr. Paula Fredriksen, Professor of Religion, Boston University; Ph.D, History of Religion, Princeton University; Diploma in Theology, Oxford University
The Judean revolt against Rome was led by [Jewish rebel] Bar Kochba in 132-135 CE. The immediate causes of this rebellion are obscure. Its result was not: [Roman Emperor] Hadrian crushed the revolt and banned Jews from Judea.

The Romans now designated this territory by a political neologism, "Palestine" [a Latin form of "Philistine"], in a deliberate effort to denationalize Jewish/Judean territory. And, finally, Hadrian eradicated Jewish Jerusalem, erecting upon its ruins a new pagan city, Aelia Capitolina.

In 70 AD, after a siege marked by starvation and terror crucifixions, the Roman army broke through the walls of Jerusalem. Not only did they kill thousands of Jews, they laid waste to the Temple, the only place on Earth, according to Biblical law, where Jews could worship God.

It was the death of the religion of Priests and sacrifices described by the Hebrew Bible. But, it would not be the death of Judaism. In the years ahead, some of the greatest religious minds in history would struggle to reinvent the religion of Moses and David.

But, the Jews would be forced to work during a period of almost inconceivable bloodshed and turmoil. They would watch their people be expelled from Jerusalem on pain of death and see the name of their homeland changed from Judea to Palestine

Are you sure? Last I checked it was Hamas, Islamist radicals listed on the US state dept and European countries as TERRORIST that ruled Gaza. You think these guys are "friends" of America in any way shape or form? Now who's the Judas?
