If I were in American leadership, barring a serious and credible significant threat of force, any "war" with Iran should be war by proxy, scattered and targeted air attacks on critical military installations if it ever escalates, and of course, any nuclear build up. The Iranians can be beaten by propaganda and expression. They know they have horrible rulers, everyone wants the U.S system of liberty, even many Canadians. Let Iranians know, "the future can be yours, don't give up hope."
