Hmm..seems the criticism stung a bit as I agree. Seems that the USA sandbagged the second half -- although the Chilean goalkeeper played masterfully -- and backed off running the score.

That is disappointing.

At any rate, a win is a win now on to Sweden on Thursday.

Win! They are in the round of 16 now....who they play just depends on their game against Sweden now. But I predict great things for the Chile goalie.

I would say between her, the goal posts and the missed PK, that accounts for about 5 goals the US didn't get.
